aleksandr was not surprised by the things she was telling him; it was unfortunately very common for omegas to be treated as if they were outcasts that was useless to the pack. his kind smile turned into a slight frown as he listened in silence. "alright." she said hesitantly. before she could open her mouth again images flashed into her mind. aiden... was her thought. fiona the omega, the pathetic one, had once been an alpha. it seems impossible but it was true. she was the alpha female of the pack of fallen flames, a once rich and very powerful pack. her mate's name had been aiden and they were very much in love, until one fateful day when the pack was raided. her pack members, not wanting the smaller alpha female to get hurt, sent her off with her sister who guarded her secret well. she begged aiden to go with her but he refused, he longed to stay with his pack and fight. he told her, promised her, that he'd come for her and reunite the survivors. after a few days of living in riles' pack, she ran back to the old territory to find that it was completely destroyed. the dens were a mess, blood was everywhere, and on the top of the ledge where she had received her ceremony lay her beloved aiden. she couldn't think straight and her vision had been blurred, just as it was where she was standing now. in the present. and then it hit her. every time she looked at aleksandr it reminded her of aiden. charming, smart, kind, compassionate. it was all right infront of her. she had always been the quiet and brave one, never the soft-hearted fool who was torn apart by the past. yet there she was, miserable as a pup with no mother. an alpha with no pack.
