He gave a light chuckle before bounding out of the camp. As the lithe alpha jumped fallen trees and swerved around bushes, he looked over his shoulder to check if Kayla was still behind him.

Her blood pulsed through her veins, adrenaline urging her limbs on and on, not giving her a say in whether she wanted to stop or not. At times like these she wished she wasn't so fond of adrenaline rushes. The silver fae careened through bushes, knocking them aside as if they were merely a feather, her hunger driving her forward. She hadn't eaten yet that morning so the prospect of the plump hare sounded all too tempting an idea. Dodging logs and roots, Corona gained on the hare, the distance between them minimizing with each powerful stride of her legs until she was right onto of it, fangs puncturing the back of it's neck, seizing it's windpipe and it's life. Slowing down, the hunter's legs skidded to a halt, the rabbit's heavy body hanging limply in her jaws before she set it down, tongue lolling out of her mouth as she panted to catch her breath.

Navaho's pace slowed dramatically as he dropped down to a quick walk when they reached the border. Glancing back at the silver fae, he grinned, "Well that was fun," The brute wagged his thick tail as he panted.

Kayla smiles and barks happily. "I know." she said, calming down a bit. "Navaho, I think its time I tell you something that I should have told you a long time ago."

The silver huntress opened her jaws to dig into the plump rabbit, when her flared nostrils caught a whiff of a scent she knew particularly well. The scent of her alpha. Instantly straightening up, Corona's ears shot up and her amber eyes were alert as she scanned the surrounding forest. She couldn't see anything that looked like Navaho but she could definitely smell him. Raising her nose to the air she took another whiff and caught the scent of another pack mate. Probably Navaho and another wolf just checking borders she concluded as she turned her amber hues back to the rabbit that lay in a heap at her paws.

His tone instantly changed and he narrowed his eyes in a serious manor. Sitting down, the alpha wrapped his tail around his paws and gave her a nod. "Go on,"

The brute's mouth fell open and his eyes went wide. "Uh," He Stammered, trying to get the words to come out, "Kayla, I'm..." Navaho lifted his paw to briefly scratch his muzzle, "I'm not really, you know," He paused, looking her in the eyes, " I don't really think I'm ready to settle yet," He said softly, "Nothing against you or anything, but I'm still young, and I just became alpha."
