Shimmer watched the prey drop into the pile. She then looked up to Ruvik again. "I just came from a hunt too. We shoul've gone together, maybe we would've catched something bigger." she chuckled softly.

Shimmer tried to think of something to say. She looked at her paws and drew a few circles to the ground. "Ummh..."

The large timber wolf shook out specks of dirt and moss from his auburn pelt as he rose to his paws. His limbs were stiff with sleep but a few routine stretches later and they were loosened up and ready to go. His pale tongue darted out and licked his maw, his pale green eyes scoured the pack site as his ears twitched at the sounds of the forest.

Her pulse quickened as her long legs surged over the earth, propelling her forwards in pursuit of the large hare who had foolishly stumbled across her path. When she had left the pack site she hadn't intended on hunting just yet, her actual destination was the small waterfall that was situated a little ways into the forest, the one place that let her fully relax before she set off to do her duties.

The alpha drew his tongue around his maw in a sort of thoughtful way, then gave a quick nod, "Sure, why not?" He grinned. "What did you have in mind?" Navaho got to his paws and shook out his thick pelt, sending dirt and debris flying.

She quickly darted around the wolf, chasing after a young fawn. She caught it with a bit more effort than it took to catch the rabbit, and dragged it back to camp. She then lay down for a couple minutes of rest before returning to hunting. She liked rolling around in the snow. It felt nice on her fur, but it was also cold- and wet when it melted.
