She gently flicked his flank with her tail, thoughts of how happy everyone would be to have food filled her mind. She started to bounce up and down as she walked.

he chuckled and watched her "what you bouncy about?" he asked threw what he had found

"Just thinking of how happy everyone will be." She laughed and kept bouncing.

"Oh..." he licked her cheek and looked towards the pups. He rested his chin on top of Slates head, "I'm sure everythings fine... I have yet to see a human.." He looked around.

Slate//Pax, the pups

Slate felt only slightly comforted, she had smelled a few human traces -fresh too- that were too close to camp for her liking. Then she thought about it; in her dream the human rescued them! maybe they weren't so bad after all... She thought to herself. The fae felt Ansel ad Silver nursing on her warm stomach, she wrapped her body tightly around them to block the cold wind that had started blowing.

She looked at him with teary eyes. "I am less. No one comes to me for help, im useless Shay. They come to you and everyone else but me. I-I don't fit in. I never have. He's right I am just a useless omega."

He curled himself around his mate tighter, licking her cheek gently.

Slate curled up against Pax. She fell into a nice, un-disturbed sleep.
