Clover glared at her brother. "Show off...." she muttered.

Aspen snickered silently and smirked at his sister.

Clover squirmed out of her mothers grip. She ran over to Aspen, and tackled him. She playfully batted at his muzzle.

Aspen shoved Clover off of him and laughed.

Clover chased after Aspen. "Careful, pups." said Lillian gently, you wouldn't want to fall in the river. Finally, after the two pups had settled down, Lillian showed the pups the river. The river was flowing fairly fast that day. "Wow..." said Clover, her eyes filling with amazement. She looked up at Lillian, "How am I supposed to get a drink out of that?" she asked.

Aspen raced to the edge of the river, steadying himself with his small paws as he bent down to try and get a drink from the river.

Crystal went to go hunt for some food in a meadow.

Clover cautiously walked up to the river. She looked up at Lillian with questioning eyes. "Go on." said Lillian. She smiled at her pup. Clover walked over to the edge of the river. She took a small sip, and backed away. She spotted a large rock by the river, with a big dip in it. She walked over and playfully pawed at the water. It felt nice and cool. Clover jumped in and began splashing around.

Aspen bent down to take a sip, but the mud under his feet wasn't enough to steady himself. The small pup lost balance and slipped, tumbling into the middle of the quick waters of the river.

Lillian rushed over to the river. The pup was already to far out for her to grab from the bank. She jumped and swam towards the pup. She could see him bobbing on the surface. Just as she leaned out to grab him, Aspen disappeared under the surface.
