Setting the scene
'Its early in the morning and its the first day. The houses and stables have been done to look at their best, the freshly built stables look prefect for the newcomers. The first people to live here are joing together with their horses. The sun rose not so long ago and a fresh summer breeze fills everyones lungs, wether you feel exitement, or you're terrfied, You're on the way! so...

This morning was easy, Sonia got up quickly, her stuff were allready packed, and clothes prepared, After a quick get-ready, Sonia rushed down the stairs to eat some breakfast before the way. Her step-parents were taking her there. They were kind and she loved them. But Nick... Thats another story. On the way as she listened to the soft background music Sonia looked out of the window with bright eyes at the endless fields through the farmlands, as they made their way to the new stables her family was building 'Bay meadow stables.' Altough she has been there allready a phew times she hadnt seen the finished thing, so she couldnt hide she was exited.

Whispa woke up in the cosy bedding as she looked around with half open eyes, her ears flickered as she got up and made her way to the hay net to grap a morning snack. Sonia would be here soon... She hoped.

As nick woke up to the sunlight crawling into his room she squinted his eyes stretching in a powerful yawn. He got dressed and ate breakfast and only then did he really realise what day it was! almost jumping out of his seat he rushed to the office room to prepare the packets for the newcomers, they contained everything they needed to help them settle in. Once they were all layed out neatly alond with a register and some other stuff on a table in the porch he made his way to the stable. Grabbing Tinker's and Calypso's Halters he got them ready and made his way to the front field to let them in for the morning, those two were unsepourable and always galloped along in the same field, so there was no other choice but to let them in together, next he had to go and see Apache his Stunning Appaloosa.

Allready up,Apache heard the main doors open, he saw Nick come in to let out the two mares as always, as they were leaving he shook his head in a 'Good morning.' manner to the mares as they left , they did the same to him. Apache kept his head poked out past the doors as he had a prefect view outside, he looked around couriously, waiting for Nick.

The dark haired boy gazed out of the window of the passenger seat of the old pickup truck. His step-father (who he detested) had offered to drive him here so that his mother could stay with his younger sister Hecate. Helios nodded his thanks to the driver, and then jumped out. The stables was much larger than the one back home. His dark eyes swift across it before he grabbed his bags and set them away from the trailer. He quickly went in search for someone to direct him to his room and to stalls.

Cassie, as soon as her mother stopped the truck, jumped out of the vehicle, her light brown hair bouncing around her shoulders. She beamed from ear to ear before turning and grabbing her bags out of the back seat. Once she had all of her things, Cassie thanked her mom for the ride and waved as the pickup turned and made it's way back towards the road. Once the truck was out of sight, Cassie turned and saw that two other kids had arrived. Instead of introducing herself like she normally would have, the brunette practically ran the short distance from the parking lot to the stables. Elvis and Caspian had been shipped out and dropped off here a couple of days ago, and Cassie was dying to see both of her babies again.

Elvis patiently waited in his stall, the middle aged gelding was used to not being ridden for a few days so he wasn't hyper or kicking down the stall door or anything. But, even when he wasn't ridden everyday of the week, Cassie would always come and see him and brush him or do groundwork or at least stop for a second to scratch his nose and given him a treat. This seemed like the longest time that Elvis hadn't seen Cassie in a while and he was beginning to get a little worried.

Caspian was very uncomfortable. He wasn't used to being in a stall. He felt claustrophobic and uneasy. The young colt shift his weight back and forth before realizing that that wasn't enough to calm his nerves. He then began to walk in circles around his stall, slowly getting faster and faster until he was walking so fast that he tripped over his own hooves. Caspian stopped pacing then and stood in front of his stall door, before sticking his head out of the opening. He whinnied frantically, and then began to paw at the dirt.

Soon enough they reached the stables and parked their car, Sonia hopped out of her back seat and grabbed her stuff, getting a quick embarrasing hug from her step-parents. after the quick byes she was about to leave when they stopped her and began to speak ' you need to say hello to your brother, we know you would treat him like air if you could, wait with us a second, Whispa isnt going anywhere...' and so on. Sonia leaned against the car as Nick came into sight he was walking past yet there were also some newcommers along the way, so they waited.

Peering her head past the stable doors, her long mane like waves of shadow followed. Her ears pricked forward as she saw someone enter, yet it wasnt Sonia, she soon enough turned around again, pawing at the bedding with her hoof impatiently.

As he saw cars arrive he quickly went to the porch and placed tinker's and Calypso's leadropes down and grabbed the register and folders, the first person he saw looked to be Helios, he also spotted a girl yet she rushed past probably to the stables to see her horses, he immediantly throught he will catch her later and first went to helios. Placing his hand out to be shaken he began "Hello! Welcome to Bay meadow! You must be Helios right?" He spoke in a very friendly and calm manner, with a warming smile on his face. "Im Nick the Barn owner, Ask me anything is you ever need help. And heres your envelope, inside theres everything you need including a map, your horses name plaques, leaflet with systems and more! Do you need any help?" He spoke quite calmly but you could catch a tint of nervousness as he is doing this for the first time, he wanted everything to be perfect and hoped he hadnt forgotten something in the envelopes for anything... he just hoped.

A feminine drove up in her dark gray, Ford. She sighed with relief as she cut of the engine. Looking around, her hands were coated with sweat, she had social anxiety.. Chantelle parked and got out, walking towards the horse trailer. Her hand gently rubbed Allegra's muzzle through the slot. She looked down and unlocked the trailer door, stepping into the trailer. Her hand grasped the leather leadrope, leading Allegra out.

Was they watched him do his work, Sonia was able to sneak past unnoticed, they were looking out of direction from the stables so she was able to sneak past, she had her backpack with her but she didnt need much more as she allready had her stuff in her room and tack in the tack room. Making her way past silently she saw a girl yet payed no attention to introduce herself, she made her way to the stall at the far back where her whispa was. She snook into the stall and hugged the mare tightly.

As she heard someone walk again she didnt expect it to be Sonia and didnt dare to look, but when she heard fiddling with her door locks she turned around and lifted her head as she felt the tug, the smell was obvious to be Sonia and so she quickly calmed down from the sudden actionstanding still .

As he saw cars arrive he quickly went to the porch and placed tinker's and Calypso's leadropes down and grabbed the register and folders, the first person he saw looked to be Helios, he also spotted a girl yet she rushed past probably to the stables to see her horses, he immediantly throught he will catch her later and first went to helios. Placing his hand out to be shaken he began "Hello! Welcome to Bay meadow! You must be Helios right?" He spoke in a very friendly and calm manner, with a warming smile on his face. "Im Nick the Barn owner, Ask me anything is you ever need help. And heres your envelope, inside theres everything you need including a map, your horses name plaques, leaflet with systems and more! Do you need any help?" He spoke quite calmly but you could catch a tint of nervousness as he is doing this for the first time, he wanted everything to be perfect and hoped he hadnt forgotten something in the envelopes for anything... he just hoped. He also caught sight of another girl approaching with her car with the corner of his eye and kept a full note on time and surroundings to where who, when and where to talk to next. He also felt the eyes watching him at the back of his neck.

Cassie entered the barn, and immediately looked around as all of the horses peered through the bars to see who had entered. She quickly spotted the blue face of her favorite man, Elvis. Without even thinking, Cassie dropped her bags to the side and practically sprinted to his stall. "Hey buddy, I missed you so much!" She said excitedly, before reaching down into her pocket to grab one of the peppermints that she had snagged from her bag during the car ride from the airport. Once Elvis had finished his munching and she had thoroughly plastered his nose with kisses, Cassie turned to the rest of the stalls to see where they had put her little project. Seeing Caspian's head hanging out over the stall door, Cassie walked over, trying to be quiet as not to scare the skittish colt. She fished another peppermint out of her pocket and held her hand out towards the young stud and simply waited, not even looking over her shoulder to see the other girl walk into the barn.

When Cassie entered the barn, Elvis's whole demeanor changed. His head went up and his ears perked forward, and he let out a low, but welcoming grumble. He rubbed his head on Cassie as she kissed him and scratched his forehead. When she reached into her pocket, Elvis could her the crunch of the wrapper in her hand and he shook his head up and down in delight when she offered a peppermint to him. Elvis lipped her hand and pulled the peppermint into his mouth, before shaking his head again as he munched on the minty treat.

Caspian had been kicking at his stall door when Cassie stepped into the barn. He knew who she was, but he still didn't trust her yet. He ceased his kicking and simply looked at the girl, his eyes narrowed slightly, as she made her way to Elvis and then started walking down towards him. Caspian backed up a bit, his tail swishing nervously from side to side. When Cassie simply stood there, with a little treat in her hand, Caspian was confused. He stayed still for a few moments longer, before reaching out his head and his neck to see if he could get the treat without actually having to walk closer. As hard as he tried, the little colt was just a little too far out to reach the pink and white snack with his lips. So, after another moment of hard deliberation, a very wary Caspian took a tentative step forward and quickly snagged the treat from his owners hand before retreating to the back corner of the stall.
