April lifted her head from the ground since the trail she had been following tapered off. She huffed and looked around the city, breathing in the crisp air. The buildings were large husks and, for a moment, she wondered what they would have been like with people rushing in and out. Sometimes she caught the faint scent of what she could only describe as human but those scents were fading these days. The medium-sized dog trotted along the cracked pavement as she focused on finding another smell. She was hoping she would find some herbs or maybe some leftovers she could snatch from a dog outside of the pack. She took a turn down an alley way and leaped over a few knocked-over garbage cans before the alley split into several different alleys. She stopped and looked down each path as she decided on one to take.

Raider stretched as he woke up from his nap. The sunbeam that he had been laying in has moved and he felt the crisp air infiltrate his nose and cut through his pelt. He shook out his fur and sighed; waking up was always the hardest part of naps. Raider stretched his front legs out in front of him, then he stretched his back legs out behind him as he finished up his waking up procedures. He wondered if there was any hunting to do but he was sure he do that later when the prey came out.
