Credit for coding and basically everything, goes to swag;

Image

Do you remember the falling out of '16? It was nearly 30 years ago...
The humans fought each other, though us dogs still haven't a clue of what it was over.
But now most the humans are gone, and the once roaring cities that were filled with humans, are now the barking cities that are packed with dogs.
This world is ours. Let's just make sure our existence doesn't end like the humans.

Are you a city dog? Or a junkyard dog?

rp rules

one | all of tess's rules apply.
two | wolf hybrid dogs are accepted.
three | no small dog breeds. Corgi's and the like are accepted.
four | post at least two complete sentences. Make sure it's enough to reply to.
five | if you do not post after three days, you will be taken down from the ranks. If you are going to be gone, please send me a pm ahead of time.
six | use the discussion forum for all and any OOC and to post your forms.
seven | do not start any major drama without asking my permission
eight | city dogs are the 'good' pack and junkyard dogs are the 'bad' pack.
nine | no joining with pups younger than 5 months without a mother.
ten | you may only have one lead role in the pack.
eleven | if you do not specify what breed they are, i will put them in as mutts.
twelve | absolutely no wolves. They may be a mix, but a dog breed must be the dominant breed.
thirteen | no histories with huge human contact. there are no vehicles, machinery, police, authority, or "pets".
fourteen | i trust you have read the rules. if your form does not meet requirements you will not be accepted. i will give you one chance to change it.
fifteen | the city dogs are mostly purebreds, with the exception of simple mixes.
sixteen | take your dogs' breeds into account.

example: a rottweiler cannot run as fast as a grey hound, and a grey hound can easily be overpowered.

    locations

The dogs take refuge in an hold abandoned building. It has many floors so I'm sure you will find a room that is quaint enough for yourself. The city has hardly any humans, however there is a much bigger threat. There's a pack of crazy dogs, the junkyard dog's that love to terrorize our pack. They steal our food, and start small fights with our brutes. Best steer clear of them if I were you..
Food is getting very slim, in the city there is garbage cans that have been picked through, but some nose's can sniff out more then others. The forest is a new location that the city dogs have found. There are rabbits and fawns that are a great catch.

Re: wrong side of heaven[stray dog]

Vali woke up in his room on the top floor of the abandoned building. The cieling wasn't exactly there, however it gave a gentle breeze at night, and let the warm sun in the morning. This was a disadvantage in the winter however, as there was a small layer of snow over everything. Vali let out a yawn as he stood up and stretched, the old floor creaking under his blue paws. He walked out of his room and started down the stairs, looking around on every floor to see who was awake. Once he stopped on the ground floor, his hazel eyes eagerly scanned the place for fresh kill, or pack members. Once finding a few awake, and a small kill pile, he walked over grabbing a large rabbit for himself and dragging it off to where he ate his meals. It was a small room, may have been previously used as an office. There was an old wooden desk with some odd things Vali couldn't name on top. Under, was some moss he laid on to eat his meal.

Whiskey laid in her makeshift bed on the second floor for a little bit before actually getting up. Despite how early she usually got up, she was a little more tired today. The fae slowly rose from her bed and shook out her white fur before slowly padding out of her room in search of either easy food or others who had maybe hunted already. She avoided crossing paths with Vali, as they had fought before and she now stayed out of his way. She lowered her ears a little as she saw him drag away a large rabbit, her stomach grumbled at the site. After he left, she slowly walked towards the pile, stiffing at a mouse and quickly scarfing it down. It wasn't much, but it'd tide her over for a bit.

Daemon laid in his usual spot in an old rusted out truck. He preferred sleeping in the back, even though most of the padding was gone out of the seats. The Rottweiler let out a long yawn before jumping out of his truck, letting his tongue lazily hang out of his mouth. The brute glanced around, quickly padding across the small clearing to where some of the other dogs hid their food. He moved an old wooden door over to find a rabbit, half eaten. He grunted, but took it anyway and trotted back to under his truck where he usually ate. Daemon began to eat when he noticed someone walking towards him. He gave a warning growl to the female that came too close to him. Once she crept closer, Daemon darted out from under his truck and attacked the small fae, probably just out of puphood. He snapped at her and bit down on her ear before she surrendered and ran off with her tail between her legs. He snorted and went back to his food, quickly finishing it off before anyone had a chance to steal it.

Hodur woke up to the sound of a fight not too far from him. He grumbled, slowly rising from the overturned dumpster he slept in that night. The brutes limbs ached from the hard metal, but he stretched and quickly trotted out into the day. He was a bit bigger than the average dog, so he did have an advantage there, but the smaller faster dogs would normally have got all the food he stashed by now. Hod trotted over to where he hid his kills, and as expected, there was nothing left. He let out a low growl and stalked off to find something to eat.

Synfall's eyes fluttered as the familiar scent of dust and rusting metal filled his muzzle. He was curled up in the frame of an old car which he called home. He slowly rose, stretching out his stiff and sore frame. He hunched down, careful not to hit his head on the car frame as he crawled out of one of the tire spaces. His gaze flicked around the junkyard - few other dogs had already woken.
His stomach rumbled softly as he stood up. He trotted toward the junkyard's entrance, and once he had passed it he turned his head to look for any spare, unraided garbage cans for his breakfast. He finally found one and was hopeful there was something in it. He ran over and stood up on his haunches to sniff inside. He smelled something, and it smelled like food, but he wasn't entirely sure.
He pushed some of the loose garage pieces around with his muzzle until the trash can was half empty - but he hasn't found any food. He sighed softly as it appeared he'd have to look elsewhere to find his next meal. That was the thing with Syn, he never knew where his next meal would come from - or if he'd even get one at all, and sometimes he didn't. He began to trot back to the junkyard to see if any of the other dogs had found any food.

Whiskey sniffed the air, her stomach growling. She normally would wait until they brought in more food, but today looked like it would be slow and she wasn't in a patient mood. The small fae trotted out of the building into the empty streets with her nose to the wind. She was a healer, and so she had no fighting experience and would rather avoid any dogs. She trotted along, jumping as something moved alongside her. Whiskey froze, ears perked in the direction it came from. Once she realized it was far too small to be any danger, she crept forward stalking her prey. It was a crow, more feathers than meat, but when you're hungry it doesn't really matter. The white shepherd pounced, quickly taking it's life and smiling to herself, proud of her kill.

Synfall decided to take a walk to distract himself from his ever growing hunger. He lingered along the border of the city dog and the junkyard territory. He saw something white, it appeared to be a dog, flash between the brush. He crouched behind a thick bush, peeking through at the figure. He couldn't make out what it was, but it was probably a dog since they made up the majority of the species now. He observed it for awhile, unsure whether to come out as the dog may be aggressive and he was too hungry to fight anyone at the moment.

Whiskey smirked at the lifeless crow in front of her before picking it up and continued on her way. She had turned around and went to pick up her pace when she caught a wiff of the stranger. She stopped in her tracks, dropping the crow and perking her ears up. She silently cursed herself for dropping her guard as she sunk to the ground, protecting her underbelly and hoping they hadn't seen her yet. Whiskey kept her ears perked, hoping for any sound to suggest they were passing though and hadn't seen her or weren't interested.

Synfall remained crouched in the bush, not moving or making a noise. He was still contemplating coming out of the bush but still decided against it. Although this dog, as he could clearly see it now, didn't seem aggressive he didn't want to take any risks. He saw the small crow the dog had caught and licked his lips. He could smell it, and it smelled good. His stomach grumbled softly but it was almost inaudible.
