He nodded, unable to speak with his jaws full of prey. Once they arrived at camp, he deposited his prey on the fresh-kill pile, licking his chops for any leftover fur or feathers. "Okay, patrols!" He shouted, padding into the centre of their camp. Hard to believe that some wolves aren't even awake yet. It's sunhigh! Yes, I was late coming back from my walk, but they should know better than to sleep in. It ruins the usual pattern of the day and we need to get to the prey prey before it all runs away. He waited for the hunters to gather around him - the fighters would be next with the border patrols.

The hunter turned to Johay from her spot at the back of the group of hunters, waiting to be sorted into hunting patrols. "Morning, Johay," She greeted the packs' Healer with a smile. "How are you today? It's a beautiful morning," She added, her deep brown eyes glowing in the warm sunlight.

Lydia set the prey down, rubbing her muzzle on her fore-paw, she wasn't fond of little vole hairs sticking to her muzzle. She stepped forward as Chase called the hunters around for the patrols, her tail wagged slightly in excitement, finally time to stretch her legs! "I hope i can find a rabbit, be nice to run!" She commented to herself slightly, nearly prancing. Her blood was pumping in her veins and she was ready to go. Her hunger now a distant thought.

She glanced around the camp, flashing Wilhelm a smile, glad to see at least a few wolves were up! She turned her attention back to Chase, ears erect ready to listen.

beautiful.How about your lovely day?"He asked kindly
as he glanced at the others.Patrols starting.Guessing this is
turning out to be a short conversation after all.

The fae stood in her position,in front.Clarin shook her
fur slightly,happy to serve her pack.Clarin flicked her ear
attentively towards the leader.

Rhapsody lifted her head, eyes narrowing on Chase and Lydia as they came back into the camp. She felt excitement rush through her, knowing that today's hunt would be successful. She stood up, silently padding lightly on her paws over to where Chase stood. She glanced over her shoulder, watching as the other hunters gathered around. She lifted her head high, ears tall and alert as she stared ahead confidently. She was by far the smallest Hunter in the pack but she made up for it with her skills. Plus, she wasn't going to let the others bring her down when she knew she was just as good of a Hunter. She offered Chase a small dip of her head and a bright smile, eyes sparkling.

The little she-wolf's head whipped in the direction of the alpha's voice. She could feel her body tingling with excitment at the thought of hunting. It was true that she enjoyed the hunt and that was why the rank of hunter fit her so well. Though just because it fit her didn't mean that she wanted to stay just a hunter forever. These ambitious thoughts of the future filled her thoughts as she joined her fellow hunters.

The alpha surveyed the hunters, his striking blue eyes gleaming in the sunlight. He returned Rhapsody's friendly smile. "Lydia, Clarin and Lilia, hunting patrol. Rhapsody, Silvia and I will follow afterwards. Make sure to stick westbound, that's where most of the prey is from experience." He padded over to his den, sitting outside of it while he waited for the first patrol to exit camp. His blue eyes stuck to Lydia's pelt as she moved - she was an attractive fae - it was a wonder she didn't have a mate yet.

She was listening to the alpha intently, gazing into his striking blue eyes. She turned back to Johay once he had finished talking. "Im sorry, what was that? I was listening to Chase. I have to go on a patrol soon." She smiled and sat down in front of him, hoping he didn't feel offended.

before padding towards his den.He lowered his head as he looked

"Yes sir,I mean,alpha."She spoke
boldly as she waited for the others to head towards the forest
as a whole group.

Lydia smiled, remembering what Chase had mentioned previously that morning, "Great!" She said with a smile, the Pine Forest was the best place for birds and voles - easy prey. "You guys ready to go?" She barked softly standing up and shaking out her pelt. She glanced over at Chase and casually glanced him up and down. The difference in size and build was startling from the two wolves. Lydia, a thin tall wolf, white wolf; and Chase, a handsome, muscular, dusty brown brute. She pushed the notations aside; walking forward beside Clarin.
