Lydia shook her head, anger swelling for the disrespectful pup. She walked over to Chase, dipping her head slightly she sat down beside him, "Are you alright?" She asked tenderly, ears erect. She curled her tail by her side elegantly, little out a small chuff of delight as the gentle sun warmed her back.

Bear & Carmen

Cole sighed, not far behind Carmen. He didn't feel pity or sympathy for the pups. Well, he did for Lucky. Lucky was a decent pup, his sister however was not. "Carmen, Do you think if perhaps the male pups sister hadn't come along Chase would have considered letting him stay?" The large brute asked her sitting down gingerly so his fur wouldn't shed and cause her nose irritation.

Bear kept quiet when he heard Cole's question to Carmen, but he awnsered it in his head for something to do. I bet he would, the pup didn't seem that bad. But I doubt they'd leave each other. I know I wouldn't leave the only family I had left. If I had any. He sighed, recalling the Demise of his family.

Dove
Dove bent over to bite into the bird, only to remember the feathers. She spit one black feather out she already had in her mouth. Laying down, trying to get comfortable to pick the feathers out. It didn't take too long to clear a large enough patch to bite nicely into.

He was staring off into the forest, unbeknownst to the fact that Lydia had just tried to talk to him. He was thinking about the pups - well, only the arrogant one really - and why she was so... Rude. She had caused him to reveal his biggest secret to the pack so openly. It would be better if the pack didn't know that my parents were slaughtered by rogues in front of me... Now they'll try to comfort me and think I'm weak. I'm not. I have lived with it for moons.

She thought for a moment before answering Cole's question. "Yes, I think he would have. But the obnoxious, arrogant pup had to ruin it all." She spat out the last sentence, rage filling her eyes once more. She took a deep breath, eyes clearing. I need to learn how to control my anger, She thought, shaking her head and gazing at the ground.

Her eyes sparked with interest. "Sure. I'd love to boss you around - I mean, help you with hunting later." She laughed, amused. "I'm not too good at Fighting, either." She lifted a leg and showed him - it was slim and fine, perfect for hunting. "I have close to no muscles. Perhaps you could show me some battle tactics for a huntress."

Old Hunter

He picked Nala up by the scruff and carried her to the cave. Once her got there, he sat her down next to Lucky. "Do I even want to do what you guys were doing? I heard what you were saying Nala, what would make you say such stuff?"

Nala the pup

I sighed, "mother and father always told us to hate pack wolves. She said that they are ruthless killers who don't stop hunting you, every since I could open my eyes, I remember having to move from one place to another, because packs wouldn't leave us alone. Then when Lucky got caught, I tried to do what father said, he said to act tough. I tried to act tough, but it didn't work. I knew I couldn't fight them if they tried to attack me, so I talked big like father taught me."

Lucky the pup

"I was against trying to steal their pry, I knew something bad would happen. I thought maybe we could beg them to help us, but Nala said that would be a bad idea. Uncle used to tell me stories about how he lived in a pack, I thought it sounded nice. I wanted to join them," he flattened his ears. "But, I'm afraid they will hurt me if I go back."

Old Hunter

He sighed then licked the pup's on the head. "Nala, I understand where your coming from, being taught something since birth is something hard to forget. Yes there are some bad packs, there is also some bad loners. There is bad in every aspect of this world, while there is bad, there is also kindness. I understand that you tried to do what your parents taught you, most pups want to please their parents, but sometimes, you can go to far." He turned his attention to Lucky, "your uncle speaks with wisdom. He was once a beta in his pack, until humans hunted them. But, begging a pack is also not the way to go."

Lydia sat down beside Chase, nudging his shoulder with her nose gently. "Are you alright? About the whole situation." She asked worried for her friend -pushing her feelings aside for him. Her tail remained curled by her side, a plump rabbit between her paws.

Bear & Carmen

Cole rested his muzzle on her shoulder, "That one had no respect." He said, "Don't be worried about your anger. It's what makes you a wonderful fighter." He said and pawed her gently with his ever so charming smile.

He felt anger rush through him when the fae asked whether he was alright. "I'm fine!" He snapped, then realised what he had done. He sighed, shaking his head. "I mean, I'm fine. It was many moons ago now. Just forget about it, okay?" He stared into Lydia's eyes, his striking blue ones glinting in the sunlight.

She smiled, anger forgotten when Cole tried to comfort her. She looked at the ground, then turned back up to Cole. "Thanks, Cole." She sighed softly. "But I remember when I was found in our territory, much like the pups. I had just come from Italy, and oh, was I feisty. I was like that brave pup, except I found and made peace with the pack. Then when I told the alpha that I wanted to become a Fighter, everyone laughed. I had to face one of their toughest Fighters at the time, and you know what happened?" Her deep brown eyes glinted. "I beat him with ease."

He tilted his head to the side, "then how do I join the pack then?"

Old Hunter

"We will wait a few days, then I will go to the pack and as their permission to let you stay." He looked outside the cave, "you two stay here. I am going to see if I can catch you two something to eat." With that, he walked out of the cave to hunt, "a small rabbit should be good enough for them. I just hope the pack doesn't have a problem with it."
