She dipped her head to Cole, a small smile appearing across her muzzle. "Thank you Cole," She thanked the brute in her Italian-like accent. Since Bear hadn't yet replied {I know you're off whoever rp's Bear}, she turned around to face Cole. "How have you been this morning?" She asked politely, a twinkle in her deep brown eyes. She could be quite flirtatious at times, Carmen, but she was a kind, understanding wolf by nature. It had taken her season upon season to learn English after being brought into this country along with two others from her home country, but at last she could speak it rather fluently. Her Italian-like accent had stayed and was never going to go, though.

Cole smiled, "Good, Chase brought back some warm food which made my morning better than usual. I'm glad to see New-leaf is being generous to our pack so far. I'm just ready to go on a border patrol. It seems like the hunting patrol has been out for ages." He replied, sitting down, a tuft of fur falling from his pelt -He always sheds worse come the warmer seasons. "How have you been?" He asked her, with a charming smile. His tail laid by his side elegantly.

Lilia shrugged her shoulders in clear in deference. "I wouldn't mind either way." She said before taking a deep breath. What a nice smell. She thought to herself as she took in the scent of the forest and the prey that filled it. "I feel we will provide a good amount of food for our pack no matter what we choose." She added.

Nala the pup/Female/With Lucky

I slightly growled at my brother, "mother always told us that pack wolves are ruthless killers. We can't find a pack, don't you remember what that pack did to our family? We can't trust them, somehow we will get through..." I lifted my nose in the air, smelling something or someone. I quickly turned around, growling, I stopped when I didn't see anyone. "I know I smelt someone, bt I don't see or hear anyone."

Lucky the pup/Male/With Nala

He padded up to his sister and licked her muzzle. "Uncle told me that scent can travel long distances, there is nothing to worry about."

Bear
Fighter - Tags: Cole and Carmen

Bear went to answer her question when Cole padded over. He dipped his head in greeting. "Just glad I didn't miss the patrols." He said half to himself. "It'll be a bit though, since I just watched Dove leave." He informed the two other wolves before sitting down to lick out paces of moss and leafs from his nest. He enjoyed the sun warming up his fur, but knew that after too long he'd be hot in his black coat with little breeze to cool his down.

Dove dashed along a trail well known to her, while she usually cam here with other pack-mates to hunt deer, rabbits were plentiful as well. It was long before she ran in a fresh rabbit scent. Stopping to take a moment to pinpoint it's location, Dove was on it's trail quickly, stalking through the under-growth until it was too late, for the rabbit. A pounce and a swift blow to the neck killed her prey quickly, and she nosed some dirt onto it so she could cam back for it later.

She watched a little tuft of fur fall from his pelt and sneezed lightly. "Sorry about that. I'm not allergic to you or anything. I'm sensitive to shredded fur, I guess." She wiggled her nose around - this was a habit of hers, and some even thought it cute. She glanced back up to Cole, smiling. "I've been good lately. Better, now that New-leaf is here," She added in her unique accent, her deep brown eyes gazing up at the large brute. "And you, Cole? How have you been?" She glanced over at Bear, who had now arisen from his nest. "Morning, Bear," She greeted him.

"Alright, Lets split up then. Figure we can each catch a very good ammount of prey alone. We can meet back up soon! Ill go down to the deeper Western Side, you can hunt up the Western side. Chase said that it is running with prey so we should come back with lots of prey!" Lydia said excitedly, giving a small yip afterwards and picking up her pace. Making little noise due to her light weight and small, dainty build. "I'll catch up later!" She called to Lilia, ears erect and nose going full speed. This was going to be a good hunt! She thought keeping low and sticking to the shadows, each pawstep nearly silent - undetectable.

Cole

Cole smiled as he watch Carmen wiggle her nose -it was quite adorable. "One moment." He said bounding away from them both and giving his pelt a vigorous shake. Fur flew everywhere. "There we go, Hope that helps you out, now I wont shed as much!" He said good heartedly rejoining the two wolves and sitting down. "Yes, how have you been lately Bear?" He asked looking at the brute.

I kept staring outside of the cave, "I just have a feeling like there is someone out there. As it is, we would be trapped if someone tried to attack us. I would like to know who is out there and what they want. They could just be passing through, but if they see us, then we wouldn't stand a chance. I...We, need to find a new place, we need a safer cave. We don't have enough escape routes here."

Lucky the pup/Male/with Nala

He sighed, "we can't. Your injured, and we are both cold and hungry. We can't just run away, we need to find help. He should find whoever is out there, and beg for help. We should beg them to let us join them. Uncle told me stories about how he was once in a pack, he said he was so happy there, he said that one day we to should join a pack."

(Are you talking to me about the hunting? I had Dove go a different direction since she woke up a bit later and just chose to go a different direction than her pack-mates.)

He couldn't help but smile as he kept his enthusiasm despite his shedding fur."Good morning." He replied to Carmen before listening to Cole."Not too bad. Soon enough I'll be complaining about the heat rather than the cold snow though." He joked."I hope you two have had a great morning." He said stretching his stiff legs, starting to get a bit impatient when going out for a patrol. His mouth was filling a little dry two and he usually passed one of the streams or rivers along his way."How long have you two been up?" He asked. Bear had slept most of the morning so he wanted to know if he was the only one.

Dove
Hunter - Tags: No one

She found two more rabbits quickly. She was sneaking up on them when an unseen bird called out an alarm. She raced forward as quickly as possible, managing to catch one, but the other dashed into a burrow before she could bark. Covering up this one as well she hoped to catch at least one more thing before turning back. Something else if possible. Dove knew that at least she wasn't that hungry for just rabbits.

"I've been up for a few moments. Not long though, I wasn't aware of the hunting patrols being made. I just wish they would put some pep in their step. I'm getting a bit thirsty and I typically get a drink at the streams along the way, along with I want to stretch my legs." Cole said, a bit disgruntled. "Other than that I haven't been awake long. Just long enough for my shedding to bother Carmen." He joked, looking behind him at the tufts of his brown and tan fur that swirled around in the breeze.

Lydia

Lydia stepped forward gently, careful to place her paws. A large buck rabbit dead ahead. She licked her chops, did she want to give chase or stalk? The buck flicked it's ears, looking at the vegetation in which Lydia was concealed behind. Lydia stayed still, tensing her muscles. She flung forward, her long legs pushing her on top of the rabbit - An impressive leap for a wolf that is. She chased the rabbit for a few short seconds. Catching it in her mouth she ended its life quickly, painlessly. She smiled with satisfaction. Stashing it to retrieve later.
