

- you were either a stray, or a house pet who had been abandoned or turned in. some say they were abused, but never show it. it's only a possibility that the volunteers will find us a home, and a good one. a home that we will be treated fairly, and kindly, and like a really dog/cat. but will you be the one who travels along side a human; or one who slew we their side to live on your own only to get captured again?
there had been "problems" over the years, dogs dying without reason, cats dying due to unknown cures for unknown illnesses. but the real problem is being in the shelter, day and night, without very many friends to chat with. yes, neighbors are there, but they get adopted and new dogs come in that you don't feel like speaking with.
but, farm towns and big cities are different; they had different dogs. yeah; there may be a papillon on the far and a border collie in the big city, but what does that matter? as long as they find a home.
