duke is a hard-working brute, he takes caution into who he trusts considering he isn't the one to give his trust out. duke has been in the care of humans ever since the day he was born, when the brute was given birth to the humans had taken him away from his mother, ever since that day duke thought that the humans were the most generous things on earth. they had bottle fed him and loved him like their own, one day one of the humans came back with another dog, her name was nicky and she was a bull mastiff, being the playful pup he was duke got along just fine with her, the two of them were like brother and sister. growing up along side the fae the humans showed them how to hunt, when he reached the age of three his owners were trying to catch a menacing bear, instead of sending him and nicky out to hunt it with them they tied duke to a post with rope, not knowing the reason why he sat there patiently. the only time they had tied him up was when he was naughty or needed a bath, however this felt like a different reason, later on duke heard the bear running towards him, he began to bark with rapidly for his owners to come help, but instead they just sat there with their guns ready to shoot, duke then started to use of his force to try and escape. although his strategy did nothing, when he saw the bear reveal itself from behind the bushes he knew it was the end, suddenly out of nowhere nicky lunged at the bear, biting it's neck as she tried to distract from him, when the humans saw one of them accidentally shot dukes rope allowing him to run free. just as duke was about to save nicky the bear had already injured her, even though she was still alive he had no chance of helping her, after all one of the humans grabbed her to take her to the vet, seeing his advantage duke bolted deep within the forest. well that's all your going to know about his past. as for love, duke doesn't have any romantic love interests for anyone, meaning he has no crush, no mate and definitely no pups.
