Legion was in the clearing, his eyes searching the camp slowly for other cats to interact with. He noticed Calico and Maru and padded over to them, his tail swaying back and forth. His pelt was full of dust, meaning it was nearly time for a bath, to clean his dusty pelt. He watched the two cats and smiled faintly. "Hey guys." He spoke.

Calico didn't respond, still sulking while Maru hopped up to great him with a light, friendly headbutt against his muzzle, "Morning Legion! How are you doing today? Ignore Calico, he's sulking cause I beat him at a friendly fight" She explained, her tail swishing friendly while smirking at Calico, he just let out a low growl of annoyance.

Legion chuckled quietly and smiled faintly as he looked over at Calico. "His pride was hurt." He joked quietly and glanced at Maru. "Hey do you guys wanna go for a hunt?" The male lion asked quickly. "I'm kind of bored and for some reason I have a lot of energy I need to get out." He added and grinned.

Phango nodded to his friend and offered a kind smile in greeting. Chi smiled, as usual, and greeted Sabre, "Good morning." At the mention of their younger - and troublesome - brother, Phango grimaced and shot Sabre a knowing look. He's in a sour mood because of last night's argument. It'd be best to leave him alone for now or he'd just cause trouble. Phango was no oblivious character, he knew of his friend's resentment and rivalry with Khumba. It wasn't that he could blame him either, Khumba could be incredibly selfish and unlikable character. Even though they were brothers, Phango often was drawn thin with his younger brother's antics. The large male was relieved when a hunt was brought up.

Chi and Phango turned their heads as a flash of golden and black spotted fur zipped into camp. It seemed Kayrah was back. Chi tilted her head, stifling back a soft laugh as she caught Sabre's annoyed expression at Kayrah's excited squealing. Her brother pricked his ears forward in interest as Kayrah told them what had happened. A wave of uneasiness rushed over Chi with the mention of crocs and water. Haunting memories flashed in her mind before she sobered up with a forced smile. Kayrah was quickly done and Sabre was already giving out orders. Phango glanced at his sister with concern, but paid his attention to his clan mates. At Sabre's request, the large Cheetah nodded to his friend in response. "Of course," he answered the deputy before glancing at their leader, Misty, and Kayrah.

The white Cheetah was in a daze of sorts until she was called out by Sabre. His offer to go with Phango and him was sounding more preferable than a hunt. The talk of crocodiles by the gazelles didn't ease her thoughts. As much as she loved to hunt with the others, she was still an excellent fighter. Her blue eyes flickered from Kayrah and Misty to her brother and Sabre. "As much as I would love to go hunting, I think I'll go with you and my brother," Chi replied with a smile before glancing at Kayrah, "sorry, Kayrah. Maybe next time." Phango narrowed his amber eyes a fraction at his sister, watching her for a moment. He didn't bother to say anything though.

Maru laughed at his comment before nodding, her tail flicking in excitement, "That would be awesome! Wanna come Calico?" She asked and a sigh escaped the other lion, "Uh, no thanks, have fun though" He mumbled, and she shook her head at him, "Such a spoiled sport, well, let's go Legion, I'm sure we can get something" She said, optimistically.

Kayrah let out a disappointed, 'Awhhhh' as Chi left before turning towards Misty, excitedly, "Whenever you are ready leader" ( ;~; Writer's block)
Sabre was on high alert as they moved from the camp, his fur was prickled up, Hyenas and him did not get along, he hated hyenas, despised them without end, he hated the way they lived, ever since his long lost, much littler brother, King, his mother had a litter of kits after Sabre and Kayrah was grown, there were only three but Sabre grew very attached to King, a small, affectionate kit, so when a group of hyenas scattered the kits while the clan hunted, it was a tragic sight, they only found one of the bodies, but there was enough blood to rest the case, since then, Sabre despised Hyenas. He paced in unease as Chi and Phango finished their good-byes, "Let's move quickly, guys" He said, impatiently, the unease was making his pelt crawl at the idea of hyenas in their territory, or even close to it.

Legion smiled and nodded his head as he turned and padded off towards the hunting grounds. "So what have you been up to today?" He asked Maru. "Besides Fighting with Calico." He added jokingly.


Athena was walking along the leopards territory, her fur on her neck rising on end. She had a few other pack members with her. The leader chuckled softly as she scanned the clearing, her paws thudding against the ground as she started to pick up her pace. She was hungry and was getting tired of the prey in her own territory, she wanted a new scenery.
