Darcey started to wag her tail of excitement and started to follow Taylor.


Axel sniffed the air for anything peculiar. He smelled unfamiliar scents of dogs, he sniffed again and smelled Taylor and Olly. With relief he thought to himself, They both have come back.


Kevin walked around the forest sniffing the ground for food. He walked around as he saw the Animal Control car,

Sasha trailed behind him, pausing as a small child ran up to her and patted her, sitting down and accepting the patting with a lick at the back of his hand, her affection for kids outweighing hunger, but when his mother rushed over and yanked him away like Sasha was rabid, she turned up her nose and continued on, her ears flicking back in anger and pity at the child's crying to go back. She paused as she went into the alleyway and her eyes caught the sight of a officer and her ears drooped, her tail and head lowering as she followed Jem into the alleyway, acting as though the cop would recognize her, but in fact, they wouldn't, she was just a worthless stray now, not a k-9 unit.

Rex followed with a wag of his tail, his ears perked and nose inhaling all the new smells from just crossing the street, his eyes were filled with wonder as he let the ladies go first before following behind them

Maggie followed with a wagging of her tail in return, "I'm Maggie, pleasure to meet you" She said with perked ears, she stepped off the porch slowly, pausing at the bottom of the steps to look back, she moved halfway out the yard before looking back, and when they reached the end of the driveway, she looked back, one last time with a droop of her ears.

Echo noticed that Rex let them all go first, but she figured out a way so she could get behind him. She stayed in the back of the group as they all made their way to the Junkyard. She still didn't know what it was, but for some reason, something was bothering her.

Rex frowned at her before flicking an ear at the entrance, "It's rude to not let a lady go first" He mused but took a step forward, indicating he would step through if she chose to complain, but giving her enough space to go through first if she wanted, if the female didn't want to go before him, it was against his manners to say no.

Echo looked at him, "Huh, oh it's okay. I'll go last." Her voice trailed off as she let the male step through. She followed and found herself in the Junkyard. There were lots of old cars and quite a few dogs. She was amazed at it all until her stomach began to growl.

Jem turned, noticing her behavior as they passed the officer. "If you don't mind me asking, why aren't you on the police force anymore ?" He asked, putting two and two together. He himself had served as a k-9 unit dog for a short period of time after fleeing the lab, but he didn't usually speak of it. Meanwhile, he padded down the alley and stopped at one of the doors, scratching at it.

Rex, Echo, Darcey and her all arrived to the JunkYard. "Here it is!" she said wagging her tail.

Olly saw Maggie look back at her yard. "Well the JunkYards this way miss, Follow me" he said politely

Sasha's ears flicked back in silence, her upper lip curling back to show her teeth for half a moment before following with a cocked head at his action towards the door, she glanced back behind her to frown as the officer moved on, the dog glancing down the alleyway as they passed, catching Sasha's eye before turning his head smugly and proudly as her tail flicked in anger, a soft growl sounding in her throat as she turned back to Jem.

Rex glanced around with a interested flick of his ear, he stepped forward and sniffed the ground in silence, his ears flicking about and nose left the ground that held many dog smells to sniff the air, "It's nice" He complimented with a wag of his tail as he shot a soft smile towards Taylor.

Maggie nodded and started padding a few feet behind him, pausing to sniff the ground or glance behind them a few times but she kept somewhat close to him, keeping in mind different stories about aggressive dogs that she had heard of. Her tail was wagging in excitement despite this fact, a slight bounce in each step.

Jem noticed that she didn't acknowledge his question but he was too polite to even think about pushing it. He turned to look at the officer's police dog and noticed the smug look he gave Sasha. That was one thing Jem truly hated. Taking a couple steps towards the other dog, his white fur spiked up, making him look twice his size and he bared his teeth at the k-9 dog. Jem had a naturally proud posture and when he wanted to, he could look truly terrifying. A low growl rumbled in his throat as he locked gazes with the other dog, challenging him. The smug look was instantly gone from the dog's face and he tucked his tail between his legs before scampering off after the officer. Jem gave a satisfied huff and let his fur lie flat before padding back to the door and Sasha, looking as calm and harmless as ever.
