land description; heavy dense forests with an extreme lack of sunlight and open ground. the trees stretch high into the air and protect the herd from rain, but also keep them away from an abundance of sunlight and heat. it is not hard to find a mountain stream winding through the roots and rocks.
herd traits; the horses here are often slim and sleek, though not underfed thanks to the amount of leafy greens, and can easily wind their way at any speed around the trees. the horses who reside here are often highly independent and a bit shut off from the rest of the land, though not directly antisocial they can be considered off-putting and fearful of deep emotions.
predators; their predators include lynx, wolves, and bears.
notable features; the elder oak. a towering, old oak tree that has started to bend towards earth over it's many years here, age and growth having twisted and gnarled it's branches around one another. the heavy branches now create a twisted intertwining roof of sorts. this is where Wynd holds meetings and can be found most commonly.

land description; dry, barren land with little escape from the burning heat and rugged terrain. rocky ground, brittle brush and thin, sparse trees dot the land and break up the hard-packed sand.

predators; their predators include scorpions, mountain lions, coyotes, and bobcats.
notable features; the red rock. a red dust covered slab of granite that covers the expanse of one of the higher hills of burning sand and brush. it rests beneath the dull shade of a dry and brittle tree. this is where crimson prince can usually be found and where he holds meetings.

land description; the largest land of them all. however- a good portion of this land is not accessible because of the lack of oxygen the higher the land goes. high winds pummel these rocky, uneven grounds virtually every day, and the temperatures dip down into the colder side. the grass and streams are abundant, but with that also comes dangerous drops from cliffs rising from the mountainsides.
herd traits; the horses here are incredibly careful and graceful of their hooves, and have fairly forgiving yet wise and confident personalities. they are often heavyset and short- resembling Highland ponies and Icelandic horses.
predators; they have no real predators in these lands, and so are often the largest herd.
notable features; the isle fissure. a deep, rocky split in the earth that separates part of the territory in two, just where the cliffs and hills turn into sloping flat land. this where ____ gathers the herd for meetings, but it is where many equines have also made mistakes and fallen in.

land description; an incredibly deadly territory, the polar opposite of the eastern scorch, the southern frost is covered in a sheet of snow. the trees are the main source of food, as well as brush and fallen twigs that survived the heavy snow. many foals do not make it far here when they are born, and other horses have to be careful not to fall in to a hidden river.
herd traits; the horses that live here are a bit of a mystery, as many do not bother to venture into their frozen home, but they are heavy boned and with thick fur, always resembling some form of a draft horse or a hardy pony.
predators; their only predators are wolves.
notable features; the frozen falls. in the coldest part of the territory, where the icy grip dips into dangerously cold temperatures, lies a towering waterfall that has been frozen since some of the first rulers of this snowy land came. the river it would tumble into has stayed hidden under thick layers of ice for decades as well. this is where luna rules over their chilling territory.
