Star Strike padded through the bushes surrounding the beach, his nose to the ground. He twitched his large ears, and lifted his head high. He saw that large clouds were beginning to gather. The beginning of Jarawai. He started running back through the way he had come, back into the heart of Australia. He would come back after to scavenge the bodies of the animals who hadn't survived.

Sugar poked his head out of the hole in the tree, where his parents had left him. He looked to the sky, and whimpered when he saw many clouds gathering. He poked his head back into the tree, and whimpered, lashing his large tail around his tiny body.

Alex Spirit urged Angel Fire into a lope, seeing large clouds in the distance. She headed back to her farm, getting ready for major flash floods. She untacked Angel fire and and brought him into the stable on high ground, then settled into the hay loft, smiling when she saw that her bed was already made.

Wild Mountain Springs trotted towards the heart of the country, the dry country, and tossed her head, throwing her grey mane into the rising wind. She broke into a canter, feeling that this year the flash floods were going to be more often, and larger, stronger, and terrifying.

Saturn snarled as her brother moved in near the dead kangaroo, her pale yellow teeth showed that she wasn't willing to share with her older yet powerful brother who circled the road kill. "Get your own, Neptune! I found it this is mine!" she snarled, not letting her eyes leave him as she stood on the ledge. "Go!" she shouted as she hoped down her body smaller than her brothers yet she didn't fear him.

Emma jogged lowly through the dessert, seeing a young girl on a horse pass through here only a matter of minutes ago. She rushed into the little oasis and saw her family fighting over the road kill that lay on the dirt. "Really? Come on you two!" she said as she wander to the dead roo's side, food was scarce and it was so like the two young dingoes to fight over it. "You idiots! Why did you bring that thing here! The farmers are going to find us!" she yelled at the two dogs until they backed away from the carcass.

Star Strike twitched his ears, hearing a pair of dingoes near him. He growled and started running towards them. "Hello. Why are you complaining? Why aren't you heading to the dry land?" the older dingo asked them. He motioned towards the way he was heading. He glanced at the kill, but knew the pair wouldn't be willing to share. Anyway, there would be plenty of food after the Jarawai.

Mulgu walked through the bush, his feet carefully deciding were to go, he walked carefully to lead almost no track behind, he sensed a big storm coming, a massive storm, he had heard of ice, rain, wind, fire, snow and drought and he had been through them but he hadn't been through cyclones and tsunamis. He feared that the storm would be massive so he decided to go find a hideout for whatever was coming as he was new to this part of bush and didn't have any territory or mares yet, 'maybe,' he thought to himself, 'maybe there will be a lone mare I can adopt for my herd.'
