The next morning Stephanie let the dogs into thw doggie playarea. Onah stood in the shade of the tree watching Bentley. Today she seemed hyperactive she dived just in time to see patch jumps at her. And miss.

bentley saw the whole thing. "wow! noce dive, onah!" he walked towards her, looking at her. "look, onah, i was thinking about yesterday... how i told you i had a crush... well, i think you might know who she is..."

Dusk woke up at the sound of screeching breaks.
Her owner stopped at a animal shelter.
She stuck a note in her collar saying,"Take this three legged mutt!
She is useless and ugly!
Her name is Dusk."

Her owner pushed her out of the car making Dusk fall on her face.
" Go away you little moron!"
And then the car drove away.
Dusk went up to the double doors and scratched on them.

bentley heard a noise. he howled. everything went silent. he could hear another dog.

Dusk suddenly remembered, she was the size of a human and sh was stronger than one.
She pushed the doors open and wagged her tail, hoping someone would give her a good home.

bentley heard someone. "WHO ARE YOU?" he shouted out. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" he bared his teeth, and growled.

Dusk smiled at the little dog.
" I am just a normal, well huge dog, not necessarily normal, dog looking for a someone to feed and care for me!
I worked in the police force and got shot in the leg, i had to get it amputated.
Ever since then, i have been abused."
Dusk said happily until the leg part.

"don't worry about her. Here, dusk? Stephanie is in her office inside the building first door to the left corridor and third door." she looked back to Bentley. Now, what were you saying?" she asked "oh yes, I think I do. No wait, I know I do."

Stephanie etched the dog come into the office. She took the note out of the collar. "dusk eh? Come into the outdoor area and you will meet some friends."

Dusk wagged her tail rapidly.
