Spirit stood in front of the stallion, hardly even tired, and glared. He felt like neighing Get out. He stepped forward so that the other stallion had to step backwards.

Bentley stood his ground. "You threatening me?" He said, looking spirit in the eyes. His eyes were a deep grey, with small fleks of blue. "I said, are. You. Threatening. Me?"

Bentley reared up, then came down hard, and raced down to winter pass. "I can outrun a cougar anytime!" He shouted back. "So now try catch me up!" He was out of sight before spirit could even move.
