Life in a middle-of-nowhere town is beautiful. To those who live there, the rest of the world in inferior. Indeed, the town is a wonderful place to live. Especially if you're a cat. Yes, many, many cats live in the town, and many, many cats dream to live there. Cats of all different types, colours and sizes. Stray cats, Pets, they're all there. There are many parks, lakes and only a few alleys. Most cats live alone, while others may form groups or find mates and have a family. Food wise, most cats either hunt or scavenge. At the end of the day, the Cafe's leftovers are usually left out back, for the cats to feed. As far as hunting goes, there are wild rabbits in the parks' woodlands and small rodents like rats and mice in the town. If you're lucky, you might catch a songbird or a crow for lunch, but only the most skilled hunters can.

This town is wonderful, won't you join us?

Sable was sun bathing atop a stone wall, thinking to herself quietly, she stared up into the sky. Eventually she fell asleep and rolled off, landing into someone's yard. She yowled and jumped to her feet, startled by her sudden awakening. The hairs on her back stood up and she looked around, eventually calming down and she started to groom her fur. Grumbling to herself, Sable stretched and walked into a central part of town to look for something to eat. As she wandered into an alley she caught glimpse of something small and quick dash by. A rat she thought. She chased it out into the street and all along the sidewalks until she finally caught it. Alas it was not a rat but a small mouse, however it was still food.

Milo was laying on a park bench feeling very bored. He watched as people passed by, sat and purred for the ones who would stop and pet him, but eventually he got tired of it and jumped onto the pathway. He walked through the nearby tall grass and chased butterflies. He looked off to the lake and sighed, it was was too cold to take a dip as he usually did most mornings. Suddenly a gust of wind blew in his face, going through his fur. The breeze caused a multitude of coloured leaves to fall from the tree he was sitting under. As they fell, they kept hitting him in the face and he climbed up onto a branch that had full view of the area. And so he lay on the branch, once again bored and watching the park.

Cleo

The kitten sat by a lake, watching the fish. She was hungry. Her mother never taught her to hunt, so all she got so far was food from trash and dropped human food. She was frustrated as she swiped again and again at the fish, but never caught anything.
"Argh!" She cried, leaping on top of a fish, desperate to catch it. The fish darted away, and Cleo got nothing but soaked.

Leo

Leo lay down on a branch hidden by a curtain of leaves. One paw drooped lazily off the branch as he chewed on a mouse bone like a dog. Yawning, Leo sat up, listening. He had recently wandered into town, and didn't know his way around that well. He planned to explore later, but was tired from the long trip.
