kenai awoke at the sound of a large truck barreling down the road. he stood up and padded around before stretching his back and letting out a large yawn, a whine escaping at the end. shaking his pelt, the border-collie glanced around and wandered out of the territory and onto the streets, his head low. it was still slightly dark out and the street lights shone on his grey tinted fur. he sighed and jumped on top of some boxes and a dumpster, making his way up some side stairs up to a roof. looking around, kenai looked around, sitting down and staring at the stars, his eyes shining. he flattened his ears and stood up, making his way back down and back to the territory and base site.

meeka had already been awake and wandering around the streets, her tail wagging and her tongue lolling out of her mouth. she barked at some birds and they flew away, the female chasing after them and laughing. she panted slightly and galloped back towards camp, greeting her brother with a lick to the cheek. there was honestly nothing for the female in this camp, so she sat down and watched, but being the antsy dog she is, meeka stood up and bounded out of camp just as quickly as she bounded in. the female made her way to the beach. she loved the nice cool salt water air that blew in her fur. her paws sunk in the sand, and she flexed her paws, making the sand go into and on top of her softly brown colored paws. bounding over to the water, she bowed and looked at the reflection along with the little minnows that swam around. going back to her regular posture, she walked on the shoreline, letting her feet and legs get wet with the salty ocean.
