Teal answered for her: "I am Teal, Corbin's brother...perhaps we haven't met before..." he trailed off as he dipped his head respectfully in greeting. Then curiosity struck him: "Is Cloud here? Its been a while since I've seen her....unless....your her successor??" he asked bluntly.

Cloud - she got up. '' Im right here '' she got up and walked to them both.

Corbin

Corbin winced at the blunt response. Forcing his fur flat, he remained silent.

Teal

Teal dipped his head in greeting to Cloud. "Ah, Cloud, its good to see you well." he purred with respect in his eyes. "I see this will be your successor?" he asked with admiration dimming in his voice.

Cloud - '' Yes. When im gone, shes the new healer. ''

Corbin

Corbin winced again. Why can't he keep his nose out of their business?? he silently growled. Flicking his tail with irritation, he interrupted. "Well, now that this reunion is done, why don't you treat his wounds and I'll show him a place to sleep tonight?" he strategically suggested.

Teal

Teal noticed easily what Corbin was trying to do. But, fortunately for him, Teal secretly agreed that it was time to get on with the day. "That sounds good to me, do you mind?" he asked Willow with a flick of his tail.

Shadow - she sighed. She walked back to the prisoner den.

"Of course. Right this way." She smiled and padded back to the healers den. "Cloud, I shall examine his wounds, okay?" Willow sat Teal down and looked him straight in the eyes. "Now, what seems to be the problem?" Willow did a quick visual check over the cat and nothing had appeared.

Teal

Teal gingerly lifted both of his paws up, and turned them over to see his pads. They were swollen and had little spine in them. Grimacing, Teal looked away. "It looks as though I've stepped on Stinging Nettle." he responded quietly.

Willow grimaced slightly and told him gently: "This is probably going to hurt." She took out the spine quickly and pressed a pad of vinegar against the wound.

Teal

Teal clenched his teeth in pain, but didn't let his emotions show it. Stubbornly holding of the painful expressions, he got his mind partially away from it. Looking around, he looked for the most beautiful thing he could find...only to realize that his gaze landed on Willow's concentrated face.

Corbin

Corbin watched as Willow painfully pulled out each stinging spine out of Teal's throbbing pads. Tilting his head, he noticed that his brother had concealed his emotions. I wonder how he does that... he thought with a pinch of jealousy.
