Free, yet captured (Horse and Cowboy RP. Need cowpoke!!!)

Rose tossed her head before galloping off, making sure the cougar followed, trying to lead it away. I snorted loudly, just tyring to keep them safe.

I raced after the mare and the big cat. I feared the mare would get hurt and I didn't want that. Steel's legs pounded the earth with great speed. We were close to the cougar, I turned a steel into it and Steel kicked at with his hooves. He hit it in the rump hard it made the cougar crawl in pain, he then ran off in the woods. I then realized that my lasso was still on the mare.

I heard them knock the cougar away and scare it off. So I was relieved, though I kept running. I galloped quickly down the field, ignoring the lasso as I didn;t wish to be caught. Cody seemed to be a wish-washy person, sometimes outright rude, but sometimes OK. I wouldn't respond to the rudeness at all. I was a respectable mare and would only be treated as such.

I pulled Steel to stop, I decided that I had enough of this wild chase for one day, my horse was hurt and u need to get him back to the fort to get them cleaned before they got infected. I turned him around and started walking back to the fort Steel whinnied loudly after his friend, but kept walking back to the fort her hurt and he wanted hay water and a blanket.

I listened as my friend called for me. My heart broke slightly and I slid to a stop. I turned to walk them walk off, and surprisingly against my original plan I trotted after them. I followed with a soft snort to Steel, moving to lightly nip his tail, just playing around. "You ok?" She asked quietly, always checking to be sure Cody wasn't going to try to grab her.

"I'm sure it's no big deal, two leggeds are too small to do any harm" she said with a toss of her head. "Come on let's go check it out, I need to know what we're 'up against'" she said the last bit sarcastically, she was ready for some adventure, a distraction.

"Well..." Devil hesitated. Last time he'd met up with a human they'd stolen his only mare. He tried to stop them but barely missed capture himself. Those things are more sneaky then they look." I suppose. If only to keep you out of harm's way. Maybe we can break out a couple other horses while we're there. But I warn you, don't get near enough for them to throw the strange little strings around you. Those things are tight and strong" He decided and nudged her playfully before trotting into the river.

"With you nearby, I'm sure it will be. As for me, I'll be fine as long as..." She was cut off when suddenly she felt her leg slip over a deep drop-off in the river bottom. She tumbled in under the waves and was underwater for several seconds until she surfaced, gasping for breath and whinnied shrilly. She tried to pull her legs back over the drop-off onto the shallows but found one of her front hooves was stuck in a deep hole.

SteelHe was very happy that she came to him. He flicked his at her playfully despite the pain he was feeling g in his neck. "I'm fine are you okay?" Cody I saw the mate out of the corner of my eye, but I was to tired to really care the only thing I wanted was my rope. "Would you let take that rope off you?" I shook my it's not like she can talk I said to myself.

I tossed my head up playfully when his tail tickled my nose. I moved to walk beside him, but very wary of Cody and his intentions. For now I just walked with the pair of them, like I was being ponied along. "I'm alright. But I'm not the one who risked his life to protect his friends." She pointed out, gently nudging Steel's neck.

Steel couldn't help himself he rubbed his head on the mare bein affectionate towards her. He was really a loving Stallion with mares. Stallions not so much. Cody I slowly reached to grabbed my lasso once I had it I loosened it and slowly lifted it up and off her head seens how she was right there. I then rolled it up and tied it down to my saddle. Steel "Looks like your free to go there pretty Rose" he told her as he walked along the trail. Head low ears sideways in pain. Cody I frowned at Steel carefully I laid down on him and hugged his neck. "It'll be okay boy, I'll take care of you once we get back to the fort. Some oats, medicine, and some rest you'll be good as new." I said kissing his neck where it wasn't cut ooen. Steel "He's not all that bad, he's stupid and foolish sometimes but he means well and loves me."
