Candy Hearts

She stiffens and looks over at Icicle. She knew Icicle and Daze were only friends right then but she got the feeling that Icicle was trying to get Daze as her boyfriend. And it made Candy a little uneasy. "If you don't mind I would like to just walk around a little you know explore." She slips from the den and walks into the forest. She breaths in the scents of the other wolves and feels her paws leading her somewhere special.

Xavier nods in thanks to White Flame. "Candy, back in your den. No one leaves camp during the night. Besides, you need rest." He orders, but he does it with a warm tone. He flicks his tails and lets out a howl for Star.

Star continues to glance into her reflection at the lake. She finally let's the tears go. She shakes uncontrollably as she sobs, feeling her heart slowly brake. She knocked out of her thoughts when Xavier's howl hits her ears. She let out a howl of her own, wiping her eyes and trotting back to camp.

(Okay, no one knows that white flame is gay for Xavier, for now everyone suspects white flame and star are together because they were out with each other for so long. Kk?)

White Flame blushed at Xavier, but he turned away trying to cover it up. He caught Star's eye and walked over to her, "Can... Can I stay with you?" He asked not wanting to go near Daze or have to sleep so close to Xavier.

Daze watched White Flame and Star. So that was why White Flame wanted to be alone, he thought, he and Star must be dating now. He nudged Candy as he walked back into warrior den.

Candy Hearts

She stops and nods almost forgetting. She walks back to the den and lays down her head on her paws. It was as if everything reminded her of her mother. Don't go out at night or a bear might get you! Her mother had used to say. Candy had hidden in the den but now noticed how dumb that was in the water. Bears slept throughout the whole cold season. She looks over at Daze. She wanted to kiss him again and tell him stuff she had heard from her mother.

Xavier returned to his den.

Star smiled at White Flame. "Yeah, of coarse." She said, walking into her den.

Xavier watches the two carefully. "Star and White Flame" he whispers to himself. "Cute."

"Sure," Daze winking at Icicle, his eyes glittering in the moonlight. He lay down beside Candy. (WB)

White Flame looked back at Xavier and shook out his fur looking back at Star. He followed her to her den and sighed.

She flinched. "If you like her you don't have to pretend to like me." She explains pressing her pelt against his. Maybe he was just being flirty. But she really liked him and it didn't feel right for him to like both of them. She curls her tail around his and looks up into his soft eyes. What if he was just using her to get to Icicle.
