White Flame looked up at Star Gazer, "I have been trying to figure out who I am for a long time... I think... I think when you said that you liked me, it just kind of all added up." He looked down, "I thought that... That you might understand without me having to say the words out loud," he closed his eyes a took a deep breath. "I'm gay," he whispered and looked up at her, "You asked what girl I liked, but I don't like one. The reason I never noticed anytime you blushed is because I was to busy wondering what Xavier thought of me... I came really close to liking you I guess, but I missed by a little bit because... I like your brother..." White Flame's tongue felt thick in his mouth, "Do you know what it is like to see girls always flirting with him because he is the alpha?" He held back a sob, but his whole body shook.

Daze bolted out at the doe, he herded it towards the spot where Candy was. As long as the deer didn't see Candy before the time was right, it should work. He remembered when he and White Flame tried this plan, and the deer could easily see White Flame's white fur peeking out from behind the bushes. He flashed a look to Candy as if to say 'now!'

Candy Hearts

She leaps up at the last moment hooking her claws into the doe's throat. But it was running fast, she knew what to do. She opened her jaws wide and sank her teeth deep into the doe's neck. She didn't let go even as the doe was stumbling to the ground. Something her mother had taught her was that you had to wait until the animal's eyes turned cloudy. That meant that they were dead. She had been injured by the deer though. A scratch on her side from a hoof. But that caught it! She let the doe fall down into the grass and looked over at him. She wanted to make sure that she did alright.

Daze nodded to Candy, "Good job!" He barked, "Xavier told me to show you the borders, so we will drop the doe off at camp and then I'll take you on a tour." Daze said picking up Candy's doe and started to go back to camp. (WB)

At first Star was silent. "Oh." Was all she said. At first. All of a sudden she realized how cruel she had been in that moment. Of coarse he didn't want to tell her. "Oh." She said again. A sharp pain filled her chest. She imagined White Flame and Xavier together, with her off to the side. Was Xavier gay too? He would have told her, wouldn't he? Star looked at her paws. "I'm glad you told me... Does anyone else know?" Star said, trying not to cry. She wanted to show him she would support him until the end. Her burning love for him didn't falter for a minute, even though she knew he would never love her.

Candy Hearts

"Alright that sounds fun!" She decides to try to help him. Some of the deer was dragging on the ground. She looked over it for a moment before sinking her teeth into the animal's back. She kept her head up hoping she was helping a little. She didn't usually carry the prey she caught she usually ate it right where she caught it as not to lead other predators to her little shelter with the scent of the dead animal. But it was nice to hunt with someone. Someone as amazing as Daze The thought flashes through her mind. Yes Daze was amazing but she didn't have a crush on him. Did she? No he was just a friend.

White Flame looked down and shook his head, "I never had any reason to tell any one, not even Daze... Who would I talk to? Xavier?" He swallowed, "if he laughed... Or made fun of me... I don't know what I would do..." He flicked his tail and shook out his fur, "I hate to ask this of you, but if you heard anything from Xavier, I'd like to know... I... Don't expect much, but..." He shook his head and looked up at Star faking a smile.

Daze entered camp and put down the doe. He motioned for Candy to follow him as he walked back into the forest towards the border. Candy was different then most females he had encountered, she had a depth in her character and stories that intrigued him. "So, if you could be any rank in a pack, what rank would you be?" He asked trying to start a conversation.

( THE FEELS ARE TOO MUCH!!! *explodes* ... This is some serious business)

She smiles. "Well my mother was a hunter once. I don't think I would want to be a high rank you know too much responsibility. But I think I am good at fighting so I am happy where I am. But my mom was a good hunter from what I heard! Once she told me that she had dealt the killing bite to a buck. I thought it was amazing and I tried to be just like her. And that was when she taught me to walk so quietly. Tell me about yourself, I know your family but I don't really know you." She walks a little faster until she was right beside him. It would be easier for her to hear what he said.

Icicle spotted Daze with Candy and lowered her ears.She tried to keep her Mind of Daze but it wasn't working

Daze nodded, "Was from a litter of... Three. I was the biggest, White Flame was the runt, and the other pup I don't remember because she died at birth. One thing you should know is that I was the most arrogant and stupid pup." Daze laughed and shook his head, "I kind of forgot about White Flame for a couple of years, which I regret now with all my heart, but luckily Xavier was there to watch over him. A couple year later, White Flame was Beta, and I was a warrior." Daze shrugged, "my life isn't that exciting. What about you?" He looked around and smelled the air, "This is the east border"

"What do you mean what about me? Well if you are asking about what it was like for me growing up. I was the only one in my litter and a little too curious. Curious as in thinking a porcupine was a nice friend. I learned that that wasn't the case the hard way. I got a few spines stuck in my nose and it hurt!" She makes a sound that was half like a purr. It was her way of making an amused noise. It sounded a little odd. "No your life is interesting. I have never been in a pack. That is interesting enough for me." Then she says something else. "You know you are really cool." Then she laughs.
