Dynamite spun around and buried his ears. His banner flew. He watched his lead mare waiting for the stallion to back to an acceptable range. He hated other stallions due to his past but he wouldn't let another horse starve. If the bachelor band had follow his sense of reason would be gone. He took a step closer as if to say She is my mare and I mean it. Keep a reasonable distance or else.

She felt a great ache for her daughter to be here with her but Artemisia had felt like her father had pulled her to stay with the herd and care for it after his death. Artemisia watched the valley that held her band. She knew every path in and out the valley Through the ghost tunnels as the paths were called. Almost all stallions had known the main entrance but they'd get lost trying to follow her and her band through the tunnels. The only stallion who had known the tunnels was her father. "Father please promise we'll be safe that I won't have to lead another stallion out of the tunnels..."
