She doesn't let a stallion rule her, she rules herself. If the stallion threatens her independence she will try to leave, and has done so in the past. Pearl slowly opened her eyes. She had the most wonderful nap she had ever had and wanted to sleep more. Sadly, there were other things to do rather than laying about and dozing off. She trotted gracefully over to Dynamite and nickered a friendly hello.

Artemisia watched the valley that held her band. She knew every path in and out the valley Through the ghost tunnels as the paths were called. Almost all stallions had known the main entrance but they'd get lost trying to follow her and her band through the tunnels. The only stallion who had known the tunnels was her father. "Father please promise we'll be safe that I won't have to lead another stallion out of the tunnels..."

Pearl turned from Dynamite and looked out towards the land a bit. There was a nice patch of grass a little far away, but she was quite hungry and decided to go for it anyways. She whinnied at Dynamite to let him know where she was going and quickly trotted of to get some of the grass.

Scotch
Scotch had risen early today. He knew that spring was here, but he much rather enjoyed summer. The heat was great for rolling around in the dirt and cooling himself off. He saw the other bachelor stallions waking or walking around and then decided to graze for awhile.

Pearl reared and whinnied at Dynamite. She didn't like Dynamite looking over towards the mares band since her little crush on him made her very protective of him. She then proceeded to snack on the nice grass patch she found, keeping one ear listening on Dynamite in case he made contact with any of the other mares. Just then, a tall paint stallion slowly approached her. "Dynamite" she nickered, looking at the paint curiously.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to alarm you!" he said, backing away slowly. "This grass patch looked really good, I didn't know someone lese already claimed it," he said, slighly scared that the mare had called the bigger stallion.
