Kenzie sighed and said "You weren't bothering me. I thought it was the other way around and I thought I was keeping you from friends." She looked around before taking. Deep breath and sitting down. "Don't worry I don't have lunch either. Nor do I really have any friends or if I did I made a mistake of course."

Joey got up and said "I brought some lunch if want want some."

He put his lunch box down "are you okay?" he asked looking her up and down making sure none of her white fur was red from earlier.

"Yes please" Brooklyn said.

Sarid padded into the lunch room and beside him was Meeka.


"Just a little scratch" Icess sighed.

Jake chuckled and smiled at the female, before realeasing himself from his tight ball he made with his body. "Nah i come on to strong i get it" He chuckled again, before looking up at the female

he looked at her with caring eyes, "may I check it?" his southern accent finally showing through.

Kenzie shook her head with amusement and said "Naw." She glanced around and saw Sarid and flattened her ears. She never did get to explain her story but not like he would like to hear. She focused her gaze on Jake and gave a weak smile.

Joey nodded and said "I left it outside. Want to come with me to get it?"

Jake noticed her actions and looked over at the dog who made her react, and then looked back at her, sitting up "whats the deal with that guy? Want me to beat him up" He laughed now, trying to get her to smile

"I guess" Icess said trying her best not to make it hurt anymore she showed him the wound. Her fur was stain and there was a long scratch.


"Sure" Brooklyn barked cheerfully.

Sarid licked Meeka's ear "Remember when you had to watch me cause I was born to early?"

"Yep" Meeka responsed

Kenzie shook her head quickly and said "Please no." She didn't find any humor in it at all. Instead she lowered her head and backed away some.

"Thanks!" Joey said as he started trotting off to outside.

He studied the scratch and grinned a crooked smile "I have just the stuff, may I?" he asked concerned "I don't want you to get an infection." he sighed "Im sorry about my actions back at the beginning of the day, I'm Remington you can call me Remmy."
