Ezequiel's tongue was on the side of his mouth as the cold wind cooled his body. Soon he noticed they had passed Team 1 and smirked. The race was going well for him, and he made sure to maintain a quick pace but one that wouldn't tire the other dogs too much. He heard a yelp and turned his head back to see the leader of Team 1 forcing her teammates to pass them She's crazy, with that pace she's gonna hurt someone, Eze thought as he watched some of the other dogs start to complain. He turned his head forward focusing on the track again, as he heard the other sled coming up and soon the leader and 2nd leader of Team 1 had passed them. Ezequiel forced his paws to carry him faster, alteast enough to be side-by-side with the other team. After a few more time running, they announced the first checkpoint for the day being and to let the dogs rest and eat. Ezequiel shook his pelt from the snow, panting slightly and turned to Gypsy "Congratulations Gypsy, you did great", the male complimented "And so did you all!", he shouted to the other dogs before laying down on the snow. He was a little tired from the race and was needing to rest. Eze got up almost right after as he remembered Dakota, he was going to check on her, or maybe he just wanted to see her again.

The husky walked up to the female sitting besides her "Hey Kota! So what did you think of the race? Did it tire you too much?", he asked jokingly, but deep down he did want to know if she was truly tired.

The Large She-Wolf Smiled At The Brute In Between Short Pants. "I'm Not As Good As I Used To Be" She Laughed And Cleaned Her Paws. Lately The Female Has Been Feeling Heavy And Tired Which Conflicted Against Her Normal Speed. "Your Doing Good As a Leader, Your Keeping A Pace That We Can All Keep Up With" She Complimented, A Bright Smile On her Face.

"Me too! I wasn't raised to be a sled dog, but now I love it! My owners wanted me to be a stupid guard dog. A guard dog!! I refused to do anything and I'm glad I did it!" She said, slightly defiant and mad at her previous owners/

"Maybe you're getting old", Eze joked as he grinned picking on Dakota "I'm just kidding though, you did great", he complimented with a warm smile. Her next comment made him smile contently as his tail wagged "You think so? I didn't want to force you all too much", he asked tilting his head slightly, looking like a cute giant pup.

"Thanks! thats what I said! I guess its because I'm part German Shepherd. Anyway, enough about me, how did you end up beaming a sled dog? Were you born into it, bought or something else?"

"Well a bit of both really. Im a pure Red Husky, but my owner wanted me to be a show dog. But he thought better of it and allowed me to be a sled dog. And my parents were both sled dogs." Russet said smiling.

"Well, thats good that now you're a sled dog! And a show dog? That sounds tortuous!"

Russet sighed. "It probaly would have been. Thank goodness im not!" She said laughing.

Alex nodded. "Yeah! I was in your team! Surprised you didn't notice me." He chuckled.

"Oh!!"
She looked confused, "Were you behind me?"
