Pocahantus stood there listening to the desperate calls of mares and stallions all around her. It was true, even she wanted a stallion around but she wanted a stallion to come and find her. She liked to play around with them before she accepted them as her band stallion. She started walking and soon picked up a trot until she reached an area with a little less moisture. There she stopped and let out a whinny to see if a stallion was around. She knew that she had to give them hints that weren't based off of smell, there were too many mares around for them to be able to smell just her.

Cloud bobbed her head as the mare offered for her to join. " it would be nice," she admitted. Her tail swished behind her as she looked over the other mare. She had a nice coat and seemed gentle. She moved closer to the mare, trying to make it easier to talk back and forth without having to call out so loudly it would only attract unwanted attention.

Dakota was just about to start pushing the mare around some then cover her as he wa alerting her finish up her grooming before the other stallion came. He looked older but only by a couple years which would be a fair enough match. He watched as the mare had moved away to avoid the fight. Soon, the older stallion reared as a warning to Dakota. The pintaloosa only snorted and reared up as well, letting the stallion know he was going to fight for the mare. He didn't want to lose this mare and he was willing to do almost anything to keep her. He flicked his ears and nipped at the stallion's shoulders as he started moving around him, he gave him another nip towards his hindquarters, almost treating the stallion like a mare he would be herding. He hadn't been in much fights obviously but he's seen plenty to know what to do.

Savior took notice on how the older mare stepped to the side- avoiding the fight that was obviously to come. Gaze locking with the younger stallion's, Savior watched as he reared up, and soon followed to circle himself, nipping at his shoulders. With those actions, Savior's lips lifted, head throwing to the side as to hit the stallion's chest, moving his body forward, stepping out of the imaginary circle. The mare was going to be his, Savior had the thought locked into his mind. He had been in multiple fights over mares and herds, and in which he knew exactly what to do- and for his age, he had a bit of an advantage. Extending his muzzle, he bit at the stallion's body, before stepping back, rearing and pushing out his front hooves; aiming for the stallion's side.

Shadow flared her nostrils to pick up leto's scent. She then bumped his shoulder lightly with her muzzle, being friendly. She used her long tail to flick away pesky flies that were flying near her rump in that process spreading her heat scent.

As the stallion approached her she lifted her head nickering to him softly. She wasnt aftaid and as long as he made no aggressive moves towards her she wouldnt run. She tensed when he first touched her but soon relaxed raising her head to gently lip his mane in response.

Shotgun~9~Tagged Medusa and Althea and Lucy
"Woah. Im not gonna gorce you into anything." His voice was gentle. He let loose a soft nicker. "I dont want to force you into anything. I would love for you to join me and my herd. I can offer u protection.


Night~7~Ht Stg 2~Tagged soldier, electra and juliette
Night squealed snapping her teeth at the other mare. She realized she didnt have a chance and backed off a little her ears still back. She may not like her mother but she liked the three year old. She lipped the three year olds mane in a sign of greeting.

Mahogony~7~Ht Stg 2~ Tagged Sebastian
Mahogony relaxed as he began to groom her. She returned the favor lipping at his mane and gently grooming his back. When he looked up she did as well turning to face the other mare she moved closer to sebastian. She was far from dominant and didnt wish to be chased from sebastian.

Wolf~9~Ht Stg 2~ Tagged wind
Wolf dipped her head in a nod. "Lets head towards the river. Its hot and i could use a nice swim." Picking up a trot the pain mare lead fhe way towards the river jumping over a few logs here and there. As they approached she wadded into the river taking a nice long drink.

Kota had been trotting looking for an open area to graze when he had spotted (whats her shortened name?). He let out a low strong nicker cantering up to the mare. He tossed his head taking long strides with his large feathered feet. His ears forward he nickered to the mare as he came closer. He stopped as he came close. Her heat scent wasnt strong but it was there.

Moving closer; the sound of the nicker reached her ears, tail swaying in response as she spread the scent of her heat. She was near her peak- in which she needed to be under the protection of a strong stallion- and this one seemed to fit the picture. Eyes gazing over the other mare faintly, she obviously showed no interest, moving forward into the water, nearing the stallion's front. Extending her muzzle, she nibbled at his mane, grooming him the slightest while she took in his scent. Rubbing her neck upon his, she let out a low whinny, seeking his attention.

"Alright," nickered Wind. Trotting after Wolf, she followed the mare until they reached the river, Wolf going right in and taking a drink. Wind's throat was dry after a long morning, so she splashed in as well. "This is nice," she said. Relishing in the cool water, she waded deeper in, up to her shoulders. The cold water cooled her off immediately. As long as the current was weak, she could stay here for a while.

Rhythan | Bachelor Stallion | Tagging Nix, Stella

As Rhythan grazed, he moved closer to Stella. She was much more accepting than the other mare he was courting, and as a bit of a novice, he was grateful for it. He began to groom her, lovingly brushing flies away from her and using his teeth and tongue to straighten out and clean her crest. He wanted to show the two of them that he was happy to take care of them, and that he would protect them always. He glanced over at Nix, wondering if she would be more accepting of his attention now that the situation was more relaxed.

Wildflower | Lone Mare | Tagging Cloud

"Alright," Wildflower said, stepping up to sniff Cloud. She nudged her a bit harshly to establish who was incharge. She wasn't trying to be cruel or rude, she just needed to secure her place at the top of the pecking order. She let out a soft, gentle whinny, then turned and began to walk back to her patch of clover. "We'll graze here."

Lucy | Lone Mare | Tagging Shotgun, Medusa, Althea

Lucy looked over at his other mares. She then looked back at him. "Protection?" she asked, seeming suspicious. "You won't try anything?" She knew she was in heat, it was precisely why she hadn't wanted to encounter a stallion. This one seemed different than the rest, however. She doubted she'd come across any other stallion as gentle and caring. Maybe it was time to trust someone.

Wolf went to the shallows and dropped down. She rolled in the water allowing herself to completely cool off. "The river is better than the watering holw. The watering hole has too many stallions.

Startled, Aspen turned and reared, she'd had many contacts with other stallions, yet this one was different. She dropped down and snorted, kicking at the dirt she taunted the stallion, yet threatened him not to come closer. Pinning her ears again she pawed at the dirt and ripped up grass from their roots.

Mahogony side stepped when she was nearly pushed out of the way by the other mare. She snapped her teeth at her in warning. Her ears laid back she stomped her hoof in the water warning the mare to back off a bit.
