Food... it is a thing that we need but is sure hard to come by. Mia tossed the small piece of rat meat to History, a pack puppy. The young pup stared at it a few moments before gulping it up. As a pack leader, I feel like having my pack-mates like this is unacceptable. She shook her soaked fur. Outside of the building it was pouring. The old building creaked as if it too was annoyed with the rain that seemed to come every day now. Every piece of scrawny prey seemed to be hiding from the dreadful water and food was really hard to come by. Stretching, Mia sighed and laid down. Lulled by the rhythmic sound of rain she was soon asleep.

Why must I eat first? Doesn't the older pack-members need their strength more? The question swirled around the puppy's head, but he ate the rat meat anyways. He must of dazed off because he was awakened by the gentle snore of Mia, the pack leader. History blinked, though he had seemed to be sleeping, his eyes felt dry like they were left open. He looked around, bored of watching the sleeping leader. There is always Beldig and Danger, but they have jobs to do...

He sneezed, unfortunately stirred from his sleep by a bad hair day. Sighing, Beldig lifted his head and shook it. Fur still blocked his vision some, but it was better. He put his head back down on his paws, letting his big brown eyes gaze out a broken window. Rain was still pouring down and they were all still hungry and tired. I wish sometimes I could just be like rain, not having to eat or drink or anything.

Lona

Lona walks along the forest floor, enjoying the sound of her friends talking. The cold rain poured hard against the forest leaves, making a drumming sound. She had tried to look for a den earlier, but failed and hoped to find another one. She stops quickly, suddenly noticing she had been walking ahead, she looks back at her friends. They looked like they were 'dancing' trying to avoid the big rain drops that had slipped through the leaves. Lona let's out a giggle and waits for them to catch up.

Koda

Koda Ducks but fails, as a big rain drop fell on his head, he gave out a slight growl and quickly padded up to Lona. "I don't like rain very much." He says as he touches his nose to lonas. Lona nods in agreement and looks at Koda. "We will find a den soon, don't worry." Lona gives Koda a big smile as she lets out a chuckle. Koda looks away and finds Winter right by him. "Woah! Don't creep up on me like that!"

Winter

Winter snickers and gives a short nod. " I know.. I know you scaredy cat." Winter hears Koda growl. "I'm no scaredy cat! Cats smell!" Winter smiles. "And so do you." Koda lets out a growl, and he passes her, helping valentine dodge the raindrops. Winter watches him, her blue eyes lingering on valentine. Valentine was sweet, so she wasn't giving her up anytime soon. She shakes her fur and sees Koda put her down, next to Lona.

Valentine shakes her fur, glad for the help. "Thanks Koda." She says, licking Kodas face. Koda smiles at her and valentine felt warmer already. She looks up at Lona, who was looking the other direction. "Did you find a cave?" She asks playfully. "No." Lona says nervously. "But I found a town."

Are those... barks? Beldig lifted his head, now aware of yapping in the distance. They're far away... so they won't be a problem to the pack... but why do I feel I must check it out? Beldig heaved his giant body off of the floor, shaking off excess fur. He started padding towards the door when he was stopped by History. "Those barks mean bad news." The Great Dane pup quietly commented. Licking the puppy's ears, Beldig answered, "I'm going to hunt silly. And, what barks? Have you been hearing barks?" Beldig shook once again then bounded out of the building. After he was far away from History, he went back to his thoughts. That pup seems to be able to read minds... its a little creepy. He always knows what everyone is doing before they do it. Weird. The rain soon dripped to his skin, making him shiver. Away he went, though, away to the barks.
