Reginald
The burly Angora was, as he always does, keeping a close eye on the herd with his head erect. It was calm amongst the group as far as he could tell, but he was trained young that things were not always as they seemed. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted trouble heading right towards him. "Good Morning, Reggie!" A young doe had purposely gone out of her way to trot over and bother him. This was not an assumption. His granddaughter regularly did this sort of thing. With a heavy sigh, he nodded to her. "Good morning, Philomena".
Philomena
The meadow was fresh with delicious greens and lovely bushels of flowers sprouting in groups from the earth. It was the kind of day that put Philomena in a good mood. A calm atmosphere really got her going. But that was until she saw the old veteran himself standing so tall it looked like he was touching the clouds with his horns. So serious, she had thought, trotting over to him with the intent to make him relax for a change. "I did not know it was possible for one goat to stand in the exact same place for days at a time". Reginald only shook his head, seeing as she was distracting him. "You work too hard".
"I think that is a rather ridiculous exaggeration, Philly dear".
