"I'm alright... Just old memories." she said, looking up at the female. "You should at least sit down. Have you seen the healer yet?" she said, sitting up with a worried look at her packmate.

She nodded and sat down awkwardly moving her meg with the cast. "Yes I have." She woofed. She looked over to runts small body. "He would have been a great part of the pack" she said looking away and back at Shara.

Sahara nodded. "He would have." she agreed, but wouldn't look at the pup's body. She looked anywhere but the grieving mother huddled over the small mound of fur, looking down at her paws. "He would have made a fine hunter..." she added.

Naila overheard the two wolves talking about Runt, she walked over to them with a calm face."I overheard you, he didn't want to be a hunter, he secretly told me he wanted to be a medicine wolf. He didn't ask because he was embarrassed." Naila explained to Sahara and Lunarstar.

Sahara flinched as the mother came over and said that she'd heard them speaking. "He would have done well at whatever he'd wanted to do." she ammended, voice still soft.

Naila's pupils widened a bit."Yes, he would." Naila agreed."I'm sure (whatever star clan is called in this) would be glad to accept him." she looked at the sky and spoke.

Sahara, now that she was talking to Naila, had fixed her gaze on the female. "Yes, Moonpack will be honoured to take him, I'm sure... And he'll always live on in the hearts of the pack." she flicked her ears slightly, realizing how corny that sounded, not intending it that way at all.

Naila looked at Sahara."Hm" she nodded."Well i best go see what the other pups are doing." Naila wisely barked. She padded towards the den."THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT MUD, if you hadn't let him go off he wouldn't have died!" Skylar yelled."Well you could have went after him too!" Mud snapped back."What is going on here?" Naila growled slightly firm."SKYLAR/MUD WAS COMPLAINING THAT IT WAS MY FAULT FOR RUNT'S DEATH!" they both yelled at the same time. Mud and Skylar looked at each other and growled."Just calm down it was none of your faults." Naila calmly woofed.
