Barkley-
He strode through the forest, pacing slowly, until a familiar scent reached his nostirls. He heeved. He cant do this can he? He closed his eyes, breathing a large breath. Flickering his eyes open, a wolf stood, one inch between there muzzles. His eyes widened. "Mom?"
Barkleys Past-
Coldness. Darkness. Isolation. Death lingered in the air, blood drifting in the water. Silence. Not a sound. Wolf shadows slithered against the moist territory, growling angrily, muttering cruelly, picking on the runts - if there were any runts left. A thump alerted me, as I whipped my head around to see a bulky brute stand on a tall rock, above all. Heaving myself up, I paced through the crowding wolves, although they moved away from me right away. I kept my head high, as I paced up the frozen pathway, until I had reached him. Him. My brother, Crush. He stood, nodding at me slowly, a smirk forming upon his lips. I shook my head, fear dwelling in my eyes, until I was stunned as he began booming, "Today my followers, my own parents disobeyed me. Pathetic." He snorted, glancing down at two shaky bodies in the crowd. Heads swung around to view them, as they curled up together. "As usual, my deputy shall give you some amusement, wont he? Ha, of course he will! Execution, ASAP." He chuckled, glancing at four brutes who lingered at the bottom of the High Stone. "Get 'em." was the words I saw leaving Crushes mouth. "Males first." He ordered, my father shaking his head quickly. "I'm sorry son! I'm SORRY! Don't do this to us-" Mother whimpered loudly, only to be forced up the rock. Father simply made his way up first, as a stray tear dropped from my muzzle. "Now, let's do this. 10, 9, 8" No I cant do this... I cant. This is my father! He is the ONLY wolf to understand me! Yes, Mother had beated me before, thrown me to the floor, making me to toughen up, but he trained me properly... Unlike all the wolves in the pack. He sat down, and stared at me, before slowly shuffling his paws infront of him to say goodbye to his mate. He whispered words in her ear, as I lunged for him, under the orders of Crush. A single kill in seconds, before I heard screaming - not applauses. It was mother. She shook her head, sprinting away. Sadly for Crush, she was the fastest wolf here. Husky sat not long away, and could easily pounce at Mother, but instead she nodded at her. Oh no.
