Linkin watched the hyenas to make sure they didn't come any closer, he didn't bother to growl since Sabie was already doing a good job of it.

Smokie stayed still when the Hyena came close to the bush.

Sabie lowered her growling but didn't completely stop. She went to inspect the bush. "You OK Pupster?" She asked worriedly. She noticed Smokie. "You OK too?"

Pupster poked his head out the bush. "I'm fine. Smokie?" He asked.

Sabie nodded in acknowledgement. "Yes, is boyfriend OK?"

Smokie walked out of the bush when the Hyenas backed off, she saw the two lions, one of whom was familiar to her, the other however she did not though it seemed that the lioness did know Pupster. "I'm fine, this isn't the first time I've come in contact with Hyenas" she replied.

Linkin looked back to where Sabie and the others were. He saw a familiar wild dog standing beside another. "Fancy seeing you here Smokie, I shoulda known you would be the cause of this trouble" he said in an almost joking tone.

Sabie smiled. "Good to know your both ok. So, you and Linkin met?" she asked Smokie.

Pupster started to clean himself. "I'm just glad they went away." He said.

"Uh you could say that, if by met you mean almost killed me" she said as she looked toward Sabie then back at Linkin.

Linkin smirked slightly then said, "you shouldn't have ruined my hunt then" he said, "besides it wasn't my fault the herd panicked and ran in your direction".

Smokie shook her head slightly, "that was years ago I didn't think you'd hold a grudge" she replied.
