The beta female had been awake long enough to see the sun rise, her body sprawled out in the grass which was just beginning to turn green. Her eyes slowly drifted over to side, and she casted a glance around the territory looking for the alpha female. He rested her head on her paws before her she glanced at Leland, the Berger Blanc Suisse rested in the grass, curled into a ball. Dusty blinked a couple of times before her maw parted in a whiny yawn. It was still awfully chilly outside, thankfully she had a semi long coat of fur.

Leland was curled up into a ball, still sleeping. He'd had a rough night last night and wasn't looking forward to waking up anytime soon. The Swiss shepherd rolled over and his head tilted back slightly before it pushed rather hard forward into a sneeze. He didn't bother to open his eyes and look around to see if anyone had looked at him, so he just nestled his nose into his paws. He wouldn't admit it but he was beginning to miss his old home with the warm floors and cozy couches.

Zed bared his fangs, his large black figure crouching low to the ground. His eyes narrowed to the flock of birds pecking at the ground. Dinner time. The male thought, ears pinning to his skull he quickly lunged forward into the flock. The birds scrambled to fly away, and boy, did they fly. Zed snarled out loud and jumped into the air, his jaws closing shut on the tail of one if the birds. He managed to catch a few feathers yet the small bird got away. The Groenendael nostrils flared as he growled loudly, his eyes were still narrow at the bird as it soon disappeared into the sky, which was just now beginning to get lighter.

The little pup let out a pitiful whine, her stomach growled in hunger, and pain. She let out a couple of whiny barks, and her small frame hit the ground. She gave a sigh and pinned her ears to her skull, pushing herself to her paws and padded away from her resting spot.
