- Sebastian flicked one cut ear, turning his head to the side as the silver fae let out a light, warm laugh. It was not often he heard such a noise from the rough, serious fae, and it almost brought a smile to his pale muzzle. Then again, Sebastian couldn't remember if he'd ever laughed since coming to the forest. He'd had to, once or twice maybe, but it wasn't a very funny life he was living. "It will be harder for me than the rest, I'm sure. It's not as easy as finding someone I love who loves me, whoever I pick has to actually be able to lead the pack. She has to be able to make the hard decisions with me." He murmured quietly, a mere whisper, though he didn't doubt Drew could hear his quiet worrying. The lanky Doberman let out a soft, amused huff, pulling his head back and shaking it to the side once as an icy drop of rain broke through the canopy of leaves, planting itself right on Seb's sensitive pink nose, startling him. He'd been so lost in his thoughts even a mere drop of rain had startled him, and Sebastian was rarely distracted. It was definitely something that worried him, bothered him, and angered him, because he had no idea how to solve it. He always knew what to do, even if it made the pack mad, he always knew what the best action was to keep everyone safe. But this was one equation he couldn't figure out. If he relied solely on how he felt about a female, he could bring harm to the pack, but if he chose based on who would be best for the pack, he could bring pain to himself.

- Four long, thin legs stretched up into the air, black paw pads brushing against the roof of his den and raining bits of damp earth down onto his snowy belly. Sohta's wide muzzle opened in a large yawn, pink tongue curling out before the spunky Dalmatian finally rolled onto his side, and finally, rose to his paws to remove himself from the hovel in the earth. He was greeted with a familiar sight; the packs camp, a large, open, grassy expanse set in the center of a dense forest just a few miles outside of the city they had all come from. All the dogs shared camp, obviously, but where they slept was divided into sections; the 'important dogs', the alphas and betas and lead ranks all sleep in the north most part of camp, their dens tucked just against the tree line where the oval-shaped clearing curved, while the hunters and subordinates such as himself all slept near the west side of camp, and the warriors on the south. Omegas and youngbloods on the other hand, well they seemed to be all scattered about with no rhyme or rhythm. Soh's long, whip-like white tail wagged slowly behind him, pink tongue lolling out of his mouth happily, wondering what today would bring.

- Whisky let out a heavy sigh, pink tongue hanging out of his dark jaws as he padded quite contentedly through the forest, plush, bushy tail swaying slowly from side to side, brushing against his hind legs as two warm, glittering brown eyes investigated each little particle floating in the suns' rays as he passed. The fluffy brute had been out for a morning walk, patrolling the borders, really just looking for an excuse to slip pout into the forest for a few hours, but had decided it was time to return home after delaying it for as long as possible. Sometimes he just needed to escape, to run off into the depths of the forest be alone with his thoughts. This morning had been one of those times, but he knew he couldn't stay away all day, he would be needed for something, and if not the alpha surely wouldn't appreciate him staying away in case of those 'what ifs' he was always fretting over. Whisky had been Sebastian's closest friend for the last two and half years, but that wouldn't spare him from the white Doberman's fury if he skipped out on his duties.

- Garrett's pink tongue rolled out of his black muzzle happily, and eventually the young male sat himself back down, deciding to wait for direction rather than going out to annoy his betters. The Belgian Malinois swung his head to the side as a familiar voice sounded nearby, brown and black tail wagging softly against the grassy earth as rich, glittering mocha eyes found Oli."Hello Oli!" He greeted in a light, warm tone, tilting his head to the side ever so slightly. Garrett had always thought Oli to be quite beautiful- like she belonged in a dog show rather than living out in the forest with the other strays. "I did; how about you? How have you been?" He inquired lightly, studying her with a subtle curiosity.

- Vegas' snowy upper lip curled up to reveal sharp, yellow-stained teeth as a gravelly growl came rumbling out of her muscular chest. This was not a friendly dog; despite having made heaps of progress since coming here, but she still didn't tolerate others in her personal space unless it was someone she really cared for. And she did not really care for Alice. The little black and white creature was a fraction of her size, and clinging and too sweet and she babbled when she got nervous. She was always nervous. Vegas hated the energy she put off, which explained why the Argentino swung her broad head to the side and snapped near the younger dogs' ears, pink tongue curling against her canines as the growl that had formed in her chest grew louder still. Finally the anxious little fae skittered off, leaving Vegas to her fester by herself. Finally the large white female sat back down, let out a snort and fixing her dark brown eyes back on the calm forest around her. It was no wonder Vegas had few friends in the pack, but she had not been raised to no any better- she had been raised to attack anything on sight, unless it was her brothers or master, and even they couldn't control her very well. Perhaps eventually she would get to a point where the others didn't bother her, but that would take time and patience and some stubborn fool to pester her until she decided she didn't mind the company any longer.

- The lanky Collie was growing bored, and finally the clouds overhead started leaking clear, cold tears down onto the camp below. It was but a mere sprinkle of rain, but Poet knew it would grow a storm. She didn't particularly mind; she'd always liked the rain, but simply sitting in the corner of camp and waiting to get wet was another story. The pretty young far picked herself up, stretching out her long legs and giving her plush coat a shake before she padded out into the center of camp, rich brown eyes picking out a dog she had socialized with before, though he was still quite new to the pack. Poet padded over to the white shepherd, dipping her head in greeting. Though new, he had already started training to become the next lead hunter, and was therefore her better. So, she showed respect when approaching, sitting herself down not far away. Perhaps he'd be willing to go out for a walk, or even a hunt with her, rather than pacing around camp while the rain camp down. "Tyrian, how have you been?" She asked in a light, friendly tone, head tilted to one side ever so slightly.

- Alice listened with a keen, innocent interest as her mentor spoke of the old healer. She had never met the healer before Summer, despite being essentially born into the pack. Sebastian had found her on the outskirts of town at five months old, after she'd been abandoned, and brought her back. She was picked on by a lot of the bigger dogs in the pack for a good long time, making her the shaky, unconfident little fae she was. Alice lowered her haunches to the ground, turning her eyes down as Summer pointed out the grave of her old friend, the old healer. After a moment, the young female brought her eyes back up to the crimson fae, lowering her ears slightly, growing uncertain at the sudden change of tone. The seriousness, the solemness. Alice whined slightly, flinched back and pulling her ears back as far as they would go when Summer told her of what had to be done to those beyond saving, and it took her a long while to respond. Eventually, with her eyes fixed on the ground, Alice regained her calm composure. She wasn't going to let Summer down, she had devoted to much time to this to let anything scare her away from being the packs healer one day. "I'm sorry, Summer..." She murmured lightly, ripping her sparkling amber gaze from the forest floor to meet her mentor's eyes. "But... It helps them, doesn't it? It helps them not hurt anymore. That's all I want to do. I want to help them get better, not hurt, and it that's the only way..." Alice whined quietly, an almost silent sound, lowering her head again.

- Suki flicked one ear to the side as Ellie spoke, defending herself. The young golden took a step closer, though unlike Ellie, she didn't show any signs of aggression or submission, she was simply calm, trying her best to be a neutral party. She didn't want anyone to get hurt, and considering the size of the prowling shepherd, that could very easily happen. "Insults? Oh, let him have his insults Ellie. What harm do words do?" Suki spoke lightly, watching curiously as the younger female came to realize she could get herself hurt arguing with this brute, and slipped down, onto the ground, showing him submission. In this position, with her most vital, sensitive parts out in the open, it would be easy to harm her if he so wished. Suki turned her pale blue gaze to Lyall as the large shepherd spoke again, and the silky golden fae lowered her ears for a moment, blowing a puff of warm air from her moist black nose. After a brief moment, Suki lowered her head slightly under his glittering amber gaze, the look on his face making her skin crawl. She wasn't about to go running with her tail between her legs, but she was intelligent enough to know that any sort of provocation was only going to make everything that much worse. So, instead, she quietly moved forward, avoiding eye contact with the brute in case he took that as a challenge, and stood almost protectively close to her pack mate whom retained her potion on the ground. "Something tells me that won't work out very well." Suki muttered under her breath, lifting her eyes to Lyall once more when he spat back a retort. This close, she could see the dangerous glint in his eyes, the cruel grin that was painted on his maw, and a distinguishing scar, set deep into his skin. Suki flinched back slightly, only imagining how painful that had been to receive before catching herself, regaining her composure.
