    ➵ SEBASTIA

    xxxxxxxxxx» seb | alpha | no crush/mate | tags; drew
    _____________________________
Sebastian flicked one cut ear, turning his head to the side as the silver fae let out a light, warm laugh. It was not often he heard such a noise from the rough, serious fae, and it almost brought a smile to his pale muzzle. Then again, Sebastian couldn't remember if he'd ever laughed since coming to the forest. He'd had to, once or twice maybe, but it wasn't a very funny life he was living. "It will be harder for me than the rest, I'm sure. It's not as easy as finding someone I love who loves me, whoever I pick has to actually be able to lead the pack. She has to be able to make the hard decisions with me." He murmured quietly, a mere whisper, though he didn't doubt Drew could hear his quiet worrying. The lanky Doberman let out a soft, amused huff, pulling his head back and shaking it to the side once as an icy drop of rain broke through the canopy of leaves, planting itself right on Seb's sensitive pink nose, startling him. He'd been so lost in his thoughts even a mere drop of rain had startled him, and Sebastian was rarely distracted. It was definitely something that worried him, bothered him, and angered him, because he had no idea how to solve it. He always knew what to do, even if it made the pack mad, he always knew what the best action was to keep everyone safe. But this was one equation he couldn't figure out. If he relied solely on how he felt about a female, he could bring harm to the pack, but if he chose based on who would be best for the pack, he could bring pain to himself.

Four long, thin legs stretched up into the air, black paw pads brushing against the roof of his den and raining bits of damp earth down onto his snowy belly. Sohta's wide muzzle opened in a large yawn, pink tongue curling out before the spunky Dalmatian finally rolled onto his side, and finally, rose to his paws to remove himself from the hovel in the earth. He was greeted with a familiar sight; the packs camp, a large, open, grassy expanse set in the center of a dense forest just a few miles outside of the city they had all come from. All the dogs shared camp, obviously, but where they slept was divided into sections; the 'important dogs', the alphas and betas and lead ranks all sleep in the north most part of camp, their dens tucked just against the tree line where the oval-shaped clearing curved, while the hunters and subordinates such as himself all slept near the west side of camp, and the warriors on the south. Omegas and youngbloods on the other hand, well they seemed to be all scattered about with no rhyme or rhythm. Soh's long, whip-like white tail wagged slowly behind him, pink tongue lolling out of his mouth happily, wondering what today would bring.

Whisky let out a heavy sigh, pink tongue hanging out of his dark jaws as he padded quite contentedly through the forest, plush, bushy tail swaying slowly from side to side, brushing against his hind legs as two warm, glittering brown eyes investigated each little particle floating in the suns' rays as he passed. The fluffy brute had been out for a morning walk, patrolling the borders, really just looking for an excuse to slip pout into the forest for a few hours, but had decided it was time to return home after delaying it for as long as possible. Sometimes he just needed to escape, to run off into the depths of the forest be alone with his thoughts. This morning had been one of those times, but he knew he couldn't stay away all day, he would be needed for something, and if not the alpha surely wouldn't appreciate him staying away in case of those 'what ifs' he was always fretting over. Whisky had been Sebastian's closest friend for the last two and half years, but that wouldn't spare him from the white Doberman's fury if he skipped out on his duties.

Garrett's pink tongue rolled out of his black muzzle happily, and eventually the young male sat himself back down, deciding to wait for direction rather than going out to annoy his betters. The Belgian Malinois swung his head to the side as a familiar voice sounded nearby, brown and black tail wagging softly against the grassy earth as rich, glittering mocha eyes found Oli."Hello Oli!" He greeted in a light, warm tone, tilting his head to the side ever so slightly. Garrett had always thought Oli to be quite beautiful- like she belonged in a dog show rather than living out in the forest with the other strays. "I did; how about you? How have you been?" He inquired lightly, studying her with a subtle curiosity.

Vegas' snowy upper lip curled up to reveal sharp, yellow-stained teeth as a gravelly growl came rumbling out of her muscular chest. This was not a friendly dog; despite having made heaps of progress since coming here, but she still didn't tolerate others in her personal space unless it was someone she really cared for. And she did not really care for Alice. The little black and white creature was a fraction of her size, and clinging and too sweet and she babbled when she got nervous. She was always nervous. Vegas hated the energy she put off, which explained why the Argentino swung her broad head to the side and snapped near the younger dogs' ears, pink tongue curling against her canines as the growl that had formed in her chest grew louder still. Finally the anxious little fae skittered off, leaving Vegas to her fester by herself. Finally the large white female sat back down, let out a snort and fixing her dark brown eyes back on the calm forest around her. It was no wonder Vegas had few friends in the pack, but she had not been raised to no any better- she had been raised to attack anything on sight, unless it was her brothers or master, and even they couldn't control her very well. Perhaps eventually she would get to a point where the others didn't bother her, but that would take time and patience and some stubborn fool to pester her until she decided she didn't mind the company any longer.

It was but a mere sprinkle of rain, but Poet knew it would grow a storm. She didn't particularly mind; she'd always liked the rain, but simply sitting in the corner of camp and waiting to get wet was another story. The pretty young far picked herself up, stretching out her long legs and giving her plush coat a shake before she padded out into the center of camp, rich brown eyes picking out a dog she had socialized with before, though he was still quite new to the pack. Poet padded over to the white shepherd, dipping her head in greeting. Though new, he had already started training to become the next lead hunter, and was therefore her better. So, she showed respect when approaching, sitting herself down not far away. Perhaps he'd be willing to go out for a walk, or even a hunt with her, rather than pacing around camp while the rain camp down. "Tyrian, how have you been?" She asked in a light, friendly tone, head tilted to one side ever so slightly.

Alice listened with a keen, innocent interest as her mentor spoke of the old healer. She had never met the healer before Summer, despite being essentially born into the pack. Sebastian had found her on the outskirts of town at five months old, after she'd been abandoned, and brought her back. She was picked on by a lot of the bigger dogs in the pack for a good long time, making her the shaky, unconfident little fae she was. Alice lowered her haunches to the ground, turning her eyes down as Summer pointed out the grave of her old friend, the old healer. After a moment, the young female brought her eyes back up to the crimson fae, lowering her ears slightly, growing uncertain at the sudden change of tone. The seriousness, the solemness. Alice whined slightly, flinched back and pulling her ears back as far as they would go when Summer told her of what had to be done to those beyond saving, and it took her a long while to respond. Eventually, with her eyes fixed on the ground, Alice regained her calm composure. She wasn't going to let Summer down, she had devoted to much time to this to let anything scare her away from being the packs healer one day. "I'm sorry, Summer..." She murmured lightly, ripping her sparkling amber gaze from the forest floor to meet her mentor's eyes. "But... It helps them, doesn't it? It helps them not hurt anymore. That's all I want to do. I want to help them get better, not hurt, and it that's the only way..." Alice whined quietly, an almost silent sound, lowering her head again.

The young golden took a step closer, though unlike Ellie, she didn't show any signs of aggression or submission, she was simply calm, trying her best to be a neutral party. She didn't want anyone to get hurt, and considering the size of the prowling shepherd, that could very easily happen. "Insults? Oh, let him have his insults Ellie. What harm do words do?" Suki spoke lightly, watching curiously as the younger female came to realize she could get herself hurt arguing with this brute, and slipped down, onto the ground, showing him submission. In this position, with her most vital, sensitive parts out in the open, it would be easy to harm her if he so wished. Suki turned her pale blue gaze to Lyall as the large shepherd spoke again, and the silky golden fae lowered her ears for a moment, blowing a puff of warm air from her moist black nose. After a brief moment, Suki lowered her head slightly under his glittering amber gaze, the look on his face making her skin crawl. She wasn't about to go running with her tail between her legs, but she was intelligent enough to know that any sort of provocation was only going to make everything that much worse. So, instead, she quietly moved forward, avoiding eye contact with the brute in case he took that as a challenge, and stood almost protectively close to her pack mate whom retained her potion on the ground. "Something tells me that won't work out very well." Suki muttered under her breath, lifting her eyes to Lyall once more when he spat back a retort. This close, she could see the dangerous glint in his eyes, the cruel grin that was painted on his maw, and a distinguishing scar, set deep into his skin. Suki flinched back slightly, only imagining how painful that had been to receive before catching herself, regaining her composure.

The she-dog's floppy ears moved a centimeter or two when she heard the skidding of an average sized groundhog peeking from the hole, it's beady eyes twitching in anticipation as it slowly emerged thoroughly. With a fierce determination, Micka quickly leaped from where she stood in the pile of mossy twigs and dry leaves. She pounded on it with all of her weight and panted as the creature twitched rapidly. "Sweet," her mind barked and she picked it up by the torso, puffing her chest out arrogantly as she walked towards the dens, a bit unsatisfied. "I'm only a hunter," she growled through the fur and straightened her tail as she buried her catch only where she knew.

The Thai Ridgeback glanced back at Sebastian. She stopped, walking back to him as he spoke. "Sebastian, I honestly doubt you'll have trouble finding someone to love you. You're great." She said, glancing at the water droplet pooling back together on the edge of his pink nose. She pondered an idea. Her darling alpha never played, never laughed, never really enjoyed himself. It was time for a game.

Drew leaned forward, abruptly licking the water droplet and spinning around, giving a quick yip of play and tearing off down the path, barking at him to give chase. She'd get this grumpy old alpha to have some fun with her if it was the last thing she did.

"I slept fairly well," The rough collie grinned, "I'm glad I was actually able to sleep this night." Oli gave a light chuckle to handsome male, her ears perking to his voice. "I'm doing great actually, but have you noticed everyone around seems to be.. I don't know.. trying to find a mate?" She inquired, a little exaggeration in her voice. She had heard Dusty talk about it, and she briefly heard the alpha and Drew talk about it. She thought it wouldn't be such a bad idea, she wouldn't live forever. "What do you think about it?"

Sebastian pulled his muzzle all the way back in slight surprise when Drew spun around, lapping the small rain drop from his soft pink nose, not expecting such an action from the ever serious fae. Pale, icy eyes followed the silver warrior for a few moments as she raced off down the forest trail with a happy, high-pitched bark, and when she disappeared into the bushes Sebastian let out a low huff, using his hind legs to shove himself forward, blunted black claws tearing at the forest floor as the tall Doberman propelled himself after Drew, an amused, happy expression replacing his usual solemn one, long white jaws falling open to reveal a soft pink tongue that lolled out of his mouth to one side. A deep bark burst from his muzzle, pushing himself faster after the silver female, and if he'd had a tail it would have been wagging a million miles a minute.

He was a very happy, accepting male, but even he thought the faes who fawned after higher ranks for the power they granted were pretty ridiculous. "At this point, most of the pack are well into the stages where their bodies are telling them it's now or never. But, i understand that. Ƈαѕєу
The small dog whipped around, looking at the two dogs. "Yeah, come on Coco!" She quickly skidded to his side and but his side with her side. She jumped back to Leo, nipping his cheek. "You'll have to do better than that to get me!" Her paws slid out from under her again, but she quickly got up. She crouched won, her stumpy tail wagging. "Come at me boys!"

яαѕ¢σ
The quiet dog sighed, but smiled at the three smaller dogs. He sniffed the air and stood, wanting to check the area. He trotted off with one last glance at the camp. A bird fluttered above his head as he trotted around the area, his nose twitching and his ears swiveling. He kept his head high, though occasionally putting his nose to the ground. After a while, he couldn't hear the chatter and yips of his pack mates, but he kept heading farther.

((Sorry for the late reply, I was busier than I thought I would be!))

Summer
Female ~ 8 years ~ Healer ~ Irish Setter ~ Tags - Alice

Summer sat down next to the moss mound and waited patiently for Alice to take everything she had said in, some rain drops landed on her head making Summer look up to the sky. Soon they will need to head back to the pack incase anyone had injuries or started to feel sick, the first words Alice actually spoke after a while of silence made Summer's heart sink a little bit. Alice was becoming a great healer and it was going to be hard to replace the young black and white female which meant trying to explain the situation to Sebastian and figuring out what was the best way to solve the issue as thoughts raced in Summer's head those amber eyes and the words that came next seemed to help relax the older healer. "Yes it helps the dog be at peace, If a situation like that arose you will not be taking part. You're still an apprentice I will show you how to with a rabbit but that will be at a later date" standing up Summer patted over to Alice and licked behind her ear "If you need any advice or to vent about things you can either come here to my old mentor Biscuit or come to me" sniffing the air Summer tail dropped "Well I suppose it's back to the pack for me, You can stay here for longer if you wish enjoy your freedom as a Healer you can not go too far unless you're needed.
Stretching Summer started to head back where the pack was allowing Alice to choose what she wanted to do, she was never strict like her old mentor. But will raise her voice at times if Alice had made a huge mistake which meant quite a lot of work to fix it, but Summer had never snapped at the black and white female unlike the old healer.

Tyrian let his white ears prick forwards at the sound of one of the other females head his way. Though he wasn't familar on names, he knew this females. Poet or more simply Po, but, he simply stuck to Poet. He thought it suited her better. "Hello Poet" he smiled at her question and spoke carefully but in a friendly tone "Well other than the nights being cold and having not slept all night pretty good." he smirked sarcastically before asking the same question "and you Poet? How are you?" He smiled softly giving her a look as if to say don't. Perhaps he was her better but he was still only a hunter and his mind was still quite equal to the other hunters. He was just getting extra training.

Kay lay silent. So silent you could almost hear his heart beat. He was depressing himself over the death of his mate two months ago. He was starving, and his coat was ragged, it was clear he'd not eaten for a few days, and that he'd not been eating properly. Kay sat outside a bakery, today his hunger drove him towards it. He sighed softly and waited calmly for the fat man to come outside and pin any left over stale food. Instantly Kay helped himself trotting up to the bin and knocking it over to get the food. He pulled out a doughnut with pink icing and then picked out a few sausage rolls that were no longer fresh. There was other food, and within 10 minutes dogs were swarming around. Kay grabbed another two sausage rolls and picked the three up in his mouth and then trotted off growling at a few dogs who dared try to come near him. He heard a few fights break out but didn't turn back to look. Nope, he kept trotting until he came to a tip. The smell was awful, but there were a few homeless people around who made him a shelter like home out of cardboard. The tip was about 15 kilometers from the Bakery, he traveled every few days, the tip was outside the city, he could go hunt if he wanted to. He just never did. He groaned and stepped inside the boxed home and ate the sausage roll putting two aside for later perhaps. He knew of the pack in the forest, but he made no move towards them, and they didn't him. He wasn't happy where he was, but why would he face a pack after losing his mate? the pack probably had pairs in it and it would simply bring back bad memories. He couldn't and wouldn't. He'd stay out here, alone.

Lillian watched the two trail off and watched Daenerys emotional reaction. And allowing her maturity to show she replied, "You know it doesn't hurt to admit when you love someone daenerys" she said gently. Smirking sweetly at her dangerous reply. "Whatever you say" she sighed softly and let the fae deal through it as she padded away to find something or someone to play with.

Daenerys watched Drew drag Sebastian away, sighing softly the female lumped her self down beside Lillian. But grew stiff as Lillian spoke. "Excuse me? How dare you. I do not" she muttered swiftly and sat up with a growl. Watching her walk off Daenerys frowned and turned away as well. "Even if I did. I'm a subordinate Lillian. I mean nothing to the pack. I'm not A warrior Or a hunter darling. A alpha needs a mate who can do something for the pack" Daenerys frowned gently and walked off. Even after nearly admitting it, Daenerys wasn't about to throw herself at sebastion. Honestly, she didn't care about his rank, she'd like him even if he was an omega, it was just him that she liked. She'd sit in a den all day and night if it meant being his. But it was time to face facts, Finding a mate would be hard, and this mate wasn't about to be the alpha of the pack. Daenerys was basically Lillians watch dog. She looked out for Lillian, lillian was a darling yes and clearly meant alot to Sebastion which proved her a permanent home in the pack. It was a little harder for someone who even though had been born into the pack, was born to be a subordinate female, nothing more, nothing less. It just wasn't going to happen. And with that, she left her thoughts in the dirt as she trotted off towards the creek just outside the pack. There she crouched down and licked it up quietly looking forwards as she spotted a fox. Normally she would growl and chase it off, but instead the young female slipped herself onto the ground and watched the curious animal as she rested her muzzle onto her paws.

The silver female glanced back behind her, brightening when she realized he was actually playing. His tongue was even lolling! She laughed again, another light, charming giggle. Drew was not like this around the rest of the pack. Neither was Sebastian. She was happy the two of them managed to be playful and have fun away from everyone. She leaped over a small stream, back feet hitting the water, which she promptly splashed back at Sebastian. She was enjoying herself quite a bit.

Drew realized they were nearing the edge of the pack's territory markers. In all her years in the pack, she'd never ventured outside the borders. She'd never even increased the size of pack land. She had no idea what was further into the forest, but she doubted there was another pack this close. She'd never scented an entire different pack around these parts, loners yes, pack members no. So she glanced back at the white Doberman, as if daring him to follow her.

The Thai Ridgeback leaped onto the log separating no man's land from pack territory. She sniffed, tail stiff as a board, ears perked and alert. There was no one else out there. She looked back at Sebastian. "I think we'll be needing some more territory soon, don't you think? There will be plenty of pups soon enough." She pointed out, tail twitching slightly at the idea of pups. Despite Drew's rough exterior and dislike of most pups, she desperately craved her own.
