Hawk grinned and nipped at her neck fur gently. He stood up, stepping back a few feet then running and launching himself into the water, hoping he splashed her. He resurfaced, spitting water out of his mouth and shaking his head with a grin.

" Your not exactly causing trouble but if one of the scouts would have found you then you would most likely be reported to the alpha and since your a male, the alpha may not want you on his territory," Kenya explained thinking about the other loner who had arrived today. She wondered what that fae was doing. She shook her head, returning her focus to the brute. She sat down on her hunches. Yawning as she did so. " I guess you can stay but if a scout comes I'll have to act like I caught you, then I'll reason with the alpha, he's pretty reasonable."

She looked up tentatively, locking onto the brutes protective gaze. She didn't want to tell him that it wouldn't matter, that she was alfa, the heir, and that she could never fully leave...they would call her back, and she, she would go. "Thank you," she mouthed after a moment, digging her face into his soft chest fur, her heart wrenching.

he chuckled a bit, looking down at the water once again. his mood had taken a fall into quietness due to the previous wolf. if course he knew he shouldn't care too much about it but it was too late. "well then If Diana is a scout you can a bit too late. she um.." he paused, lifting his neck to show the blood running down to his chest. although the bite was not deep, though the blood made it look pretty bad, it was only a small wound.

She blinked, unsure of what she meant to say as she felt the brute lean his head on hers, her nose quivering as she took in his sharp scent. Alue drew out a long, reluctant breath, forcing herself to stand up, her eyes not daring to fully meet his. Without another word she turned, her tail flickering with satisfaction beside her as she dipped back into the bracken, following the coarse trail Kyrax had taken her through in the first place.
She felt bleak, empty. This...was what he meant when he offered sharing his place in rank.
...And for once, she liked sharing.

Kenya's widened slightly," well Diana is a scout. I don't think she would report you though. If anyone would it would be Smowfire, the lead scout. Maybe Alaska." She looked at his wound the blood was to his chest and the wound was on his neck. " Splash some water on it, it can make some of the blood fade away." She was fairly confidant that Diana wouldn't report him but she kept her ears listening so she could tell if some of her pack mates were coming so she could act fast.
