Kia looks over to where China is hiding and whispers,"I'm going to get them away ok? I'm going to run that way and hopefully they'll follow me and they'll leave you alone. I'll come back to you ok? I promise."

Kia slowly steps out of the shadows. She glances toward the other strays and back behind her toward China. She takes a deep breath and steps into the light. She has to make sure that they follow her...
She runs straight toward the other strays and knocks them both over. "That'll get their attention..." she thinks.
She turns back towards them, bares her teeth and growls.

Storm looked at Xena and thought about her question, what would they do? He heard his stomach rumble. Maybe we should eat... he said. Then he heard whispering, and he looked behind him. "Who's there?" then he sees a dog run at him and he falls over, then gets back up. He snarls loudly and visiously, then lunges at the dog who had knocked him and xena over. What do you want? he asked the dog. He could snap this dogs neck right now if he tried.he had her pinned down and neck open.

I nod in agreement at his suggestion, yeah good idea. I say. The sound of a growl behind us snaps me to attention. I turn quickly and see the dog running towards us, i move to the side as the dog knocks Storm over. I snarl at the dog, lungeing and grabbing her by her back leg. I bite down hard and continue to snarl at her, legs stiff and not moving. I'm ready for a fight. .
