He nodded, teasingly showing his approval. He realized that she really was an excellent hunter, but, since he didn't want to be outdone, he squashed a mouse that was happening to rush by, under his foot, with a hum of satisfaction. "Not bad.. if I do say so myself."

She huffed and snorted as she shook her head. She yawned as she jumped on a squirrel and stared at the mouse he now stood on...She snorted as she flicked her tail and tossed the squirrel at him... She asked "What about now?"

The brute slowly made his way towards a tree to lay under, since the sun was going down. Winston sighed softly and glanced up at the sky, watching the stars slowly form. It was a lovely night, and he closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again and then heard the soft howl of Zara, along with Finnegan's. He knew why she was howling and it was best to let her be no matter what. He felt bad for her because she had no one but him and his family.

Castiel dropped his rabbit and lunged upward the catch the squirrel squarely in his jaws. Grinning, he picked up his mouse and hare, as well as the freshly caught squirrel and managed to woof, his voice muffled, "I think we should head back." He looked around, glimpsing the sun going down and giving into dusk, as well as the full, white moon and the stars beginning to poke through the dark sky.. He heard distant howling by the lake - Finnegan and Zara he knew - and thought it was time to return to the makeshift camp and tuck in for the night. He needed his energy.. after all, it seemed as if Jax wanted to move the pack, and he wanted to be ready for anything!
With a jerk of his head, he began to trot back to camp, judging by the faint patter of her paws that Jess wasn't far behind.

The fae pulled away from the male and shook herself before looking over her shoulder. At this point, the moonlight was out, and she stood in the moonlight, her yellow eyes glistening in the light."Thanks Finnegan, that's the nicest thing anyone as ever said to me...." She said with a soft smile and then added,"I'm off to bed, good night Finnegan." and she dipped her head before making her way to the den.What is the matter with you Zara?! You have feelings for him and there's obviously something going on between you two, don't be this way! she thought to herself, but she knew why she had to act this way. It was clear, she was too scared to even think about love regardless of her feelings for him.

Finnegan| Male| Fighter| Crush: Has taken a liking to Zara| Tags: Zara is leaving him/ OPEN

Finnegan started as she pulled away, speechless. He usually would be enraged, seeing a female walk away from him so soon after his break up with Pandora, but let it go with a faint moan. Sure he left slightly upset about her leaving so abruptly, but he mostly felt angry with himself? Why wouldn't nay she-wolf stay with him for long? Had be done something wrong? Slipped up and maybe taken things too fast for her? Regardless, Finnegan sighed, got to his feet and stalked after her, his tail lower to the ground than before.
Finn himself had discovered at this point that, yes, love hurt, and so did betrayal but he knew he had to put himself out there.. and besides, he happened to like Zara's resistance.. it made the game of love more fun to play.
Feeling better about himself and more determined to make whatever he had with Zara last, Finnegan broke into a lilting run, gleefully, ad oddly happy in spite of himself. He knew he liked - possibly loved - Zara, and he was;t going to let her go so easily.. after all, he'd said it himself.
He bounded across the camp and slowed as he reached the Fighter's den. He saw Zara curled up, most likely fake sleeping to avoid talking with him, and though that deflated Finnegan's spirits ever so slightly, he shook it off and padded over slumbering wolves to his nest in the far back. With a contented sigh, as he was wobbly-legged and dizzy with lack of sleep, he slipped into deep, everlasting peace almost the moment his head hit the leafy ground.

Zara heard Finnegan come into the den and she opened one eye, but she didn't budge from her spot. She curled up in a ball and tucked one paw under her. She just couldn't sleep for some reason and she slowly got up and walked out of the den and went to the lake and stretched herself along the side of the lake and rested her head on her paws and stared out into the water, watching the reflection of the lake. There was so much on the fae's mind and she wished she could get it out of her head. One thought that kept coming to her, was Finnegan. There was so much that she liked about him and she didn't know why she felt this way.

After the fae was done thinking over things, she pushed herself up and walked back to the den. She made her way to Finnegan, trying not to wake any other wolves. Zara made her way over to him and managed to find room next to him and curled next to him. She nestled close to him, and soon fell asleep.
