Lykaios's ears twitched and perked up at the sound of mating season. The Alpha was right, it isn't too far behind. He yawned lightly and looked around at the pack, unsure what to do. He knew one thing; he would have to find the right mate at one point, and so would Aiyana. He flicked his tail slightly before wrapping it around himself.

Aiyana's ears twitched slightly, seeing that the Alpha seemed slightly quick to change the subject of mating season. She never really liked the idea of mating season, as it had always seemed scary to her. She looked around, watching a crow in the distance as she listened to the Alpha, her thoughts elsewhere.

She saw a rabbit at its every day business. "I wonder if rabbits can talk?" She questioned herself. She stood up and crept over to it, and caught it. "Well this one can't now!" She took it to the main part of camp. "Anyone hungry?!" She yelled through the wolves.

The alpha wasn't sure how he could get a mate, who would even want me? he thought with a frown. To Jax, he saw that the female's looked at him as an overworked, and over stressed male, how would that be attractive.
The leader needed some air, so he continued down an already marked path to the lake. Once he made it to the large body of water, he took in a deep breath, followed by lowering his head down, only to look at his reflection.

Oasis let out a soft sigh as she listened to her alpha speak. Once the meeting was done, she turned to the nearest wolves that were close to her, Lykaios and Aiyana, "Well isn't that a good amount of pressure on us" she said shortly to them, not very happy about mating season, but knowing that it was inevitable.

She passed up behind Jax silently.
"Uh. Your majesty? Is something wrong?" She grinned, using a fake name.
She looked in the water too, and saw herself. "Hey. It's ok. You're not ugly. All those females out there would accept you, you're ther leader." She said softly.

Mating season? Great. Grimsley yawned, hardly bothered by the thought of getting a mate nor interested. It wasn't that he didn't care - on the contrary, he knew pups were the key to building a strong healthy pack - but he simply couldn't see himself being all lovey-dovey with another wolf. He didn't even know how he'd be around pups! Still, if it helped the pack...
With the meeting adjourned he rose to his paws and turned back to the rabbit trail though not before throwing a look over his shoulder towards Echo when she announced her kill. Meat was meat, he supposed... but then again he did fancy the idea of catching his own. He needed to stretch his legs anyways and continued off towards the woods.

Cinna was rather pleased in her own little way and couldn't help but give her tail a little waggle. So she hadn't missed the mating season... well, of course not! She was silly to get so worked up, though it was not because she was dying to raise a family. On the other hand she was a bit sketchy. How could she possibly find the time to raise pups when she was always so busy? She frowned to herself as she began to walk slowly away. Maybe things would change later but... she didn't know. For now she decided to just focus on the current tasks and worry about pups and finding a mate later.

The male's willow tree was close enough to hear the Alpha's howl and speech. The brute simply yawned at the subject but thought of the idea of a family to come home to after every hunt or battle. He always wondered what those feelings felt like but they were just little dreams that wolf often had. Which wasn't surprising almost every brute dreamed of having a mate and pups. The ones who didn't were more loners anyway.

The fae had heard the male's large howl and came running quickly before hearing his whole mating season speech. All that was on her mind were the blessings that came out of it which were the abundance of litters. But would this year be the year she would become a mother ? She highly doubted it most of the brutes probably preferred a hunter or fighter then a healer but the face kept up her hopeful face.

Lykaios looked at the female and smirked softly. "Yeah, its kind of a normal thing though. The mating season I mean." He grinned slightly and stood up, streched and examined Oasis carefully, his ears twiching lightly.

Aiyana smirked at Lykaios before bowing her head at the other female and trotting off to explore. When she seen the Alpha she slowly stopped in her tracks and lowered herself to a respectful level. "Is it okay if I sit here?" Aiyana asked, coming up beside him and sitting down.
