Kaapo snapped out of his world, to find a new wolf inside the cave. It was staring straight at him. He frowned, and looked around the cave. Kia was sleeping, so the wolf probably sneaked in while Kia was sleeping. This is my chance! He thought. To prove to my new friend that I can be a good leader! "What are you doing here?" He snarled, bending down as if to stalk pray, he stepped carefully towards the wolf, snarling his teeth, looking vicious.

Macie jumped back ''Um, Kia told me about you.....'' she said, making sure he knew she was a friend. ''I'm kind, and don't want to fight!'' she said.

He stopped, put his teeth away, and sat up. He bottom was comfy sitting on the squirrel skin, and he rubbed his rear down in there. "Oh, sorry." He laughed "I lost all of my family, so I wanted to protect Kia because she kind of is my family now" He smiled. "And plus, I'm kind of glad to hear you say you were a friend, because I probably couldn't win a fight to you any way!" He took a deep breath. "Well, let's have a proper welcoming"

Macie chuckled ''Nice to meet you, Kaapo, I am Macie.'' she said and smiled. She yawned as she turned to see Kia still sleeping then looked back to Kaapo. ''Nice to meet you'' she said, flicking her tail and ear.

"You to!" He said. He stood up, thinking of what they could do. "Oh!" He said ears perked, remembering what time it was. "Come on!" He said dashing out of the cave.

Macie's ears perked and quickly followed Kaapo out. She went to the side of him ''Where are we going, and what are we doing?'' she asked, confused. A few minutes later she lost energy and had to take deep breaths to keep going. Macie forced her muscles and legs to keep going.

They climbed up the caves top, slipping on rocks and lose gravel. Kaapo finally stopped, and turned around. Macie was huffing loudly. "Sorry want me to slow down?"
