Her eyes widened, her heart pounding frantically with sudden panick, fear. The pup shook violently, her legs quivering, trembling, as she took a step torward the brush. A limp paw dangled over the limbs, the rest of the wolf's body tangled into the thick bracken, it's head craning over a small tree stump, blood bashing out of the side of its head where it had been smashed into the wood. "Kael!" Ivory jumped back, her fur cackling with utter terror as she looked away, hard sobs racking against her chest. It was a maven. It was the healer from the fleet. It was Utah...It was dead.

The brute shook his head, taking Ivory's scruff. He darted off of the camp, only stopping for almost less than a second when he almost crashed with the trees at high speed. Kael dropped her gently once they arrived the camp, panting. He curled around her, trying to comfort the pup licking gently her fur. "Don't worry..." he whispered. But how couldn't she be scared? 'It's my fault, we had to stay here...' he sighed as deep toughts came to his mind. And... who killed that wolf?

She trembled, a soft whimper seething through her lips as she hid her face into Kael's fur, hard sobs racking against her chest. The sound was muffled, echoing with fear, horror... "Kael, he was inno-cent," she whined quietly, her sides heaving with every breath as she curled up around him, glad for his comfort.

The brute placed his head gently in Ivory's neck, sighing. "I know dear, I know..." he suddenly perked his ears, thinking. "Someone had to kill him... I'll tell Utha later, ok?" he whispered, half smiling.

She stifled her sobs, tentively lifting her head and nodding. "O-Okay, okay... Kael, I don't think he'll be the only one. I think you'll be next."
