Kellan skidded to a halt at the water's edge, panting slightly. "Yeah... That's the point." The grey wolf replied, not looking at Century, but out across the icy river - it was frozen, his luck had held. Kellan nodded across the bank."It's across the river," He explained, now looking dubiously at the ice coating the river. "But it is rather hidden." He tentatively placed a paw on the ice - the crease in his forehead had deepened.

Century skidded to a stop at the rivers edge, she stood there staring at the ice terrier in her eyes. "K-kellan I c-can't" she said quietly quivering. She thought back to 3 years ago when her mother was running with her across a frozen river they had both fallen in and her mother was never found and the night pack wolves had rescued her

[Oddment]

"It's okay," Said the grey wolf encouragingly, taking another step forward across the frozen river. "It'll be fine." He repeated the words of the promise he had made to her only minutes beforehand.

Century whimpered and gently put a paw down on the ice squeezing her eyes shut she put another paw on the ice almost slipping she opened one eyes and softly put one foot down in front of the other. If any other wolf had asked her to go onto the ice she would have shaken her head no and run off but Kellan's words were so reassuring.

"That's it," Said Kellan, halting halfway across the frozen river to check on Century - she had one eye closed but was slowly making her way across the river. "You've got it." He decided to backtrack to give her a little bit of moral support, so he slid backward some to fall into step beside Century, not noticing the ominous creaking sounds that groaned from the ice when he walked, nor the small cracks that appeared on the sheet of ice behind his paws.

Century let out a small sigh as Kellan came to her side. She was shaking slightly as they walked across the frozen river she hadn't heard the cracking sound of the ice under her paws till it was too late. She let out a loud yelp as a more obvious cracking sound rung out through the forest and both of her back legs fell straight in. She used her front paws trying to scramble up out of the icy water

Kellan let out a yelp of surprise as the ice gave way, breaking into several small pieces and flowing downstream with the strong current. He scrabbled backward just in time, about to leap for the bank when another yelp rang in his ears - he spun around, horrified, to spot Century scrabbling at the ice, struggling not to let the current take her away. Kellan didn't have a second thought as he turned around back to the she-wolf, more ice shattering at the impact of his paw steps. He managed to stop, panting, at a sheet of ice which had not yet succumbed to his weight, where he leaned over, trying to help pull her up, his mind swimming with the worst. She's going to die, she's going to die and it's all my fault, I forced her here... He could feel the ice creaking ominously under his weight but ignored it.

Jay sighed lightly, now realizing the pup couldn't talk, only letting out a yip. The large, silver brute nuzzled the pup for comfort, though soon put his blind gaze on, what he could only think, to be the former mother of the pup. Jay slowly moved his tail and picked up the pup by her scruff, trying his best not to hurt her, then began to walk towards the pack wolf scent, it was the only thing on his mind.

She nodded lightly at hearing Fallen's thanks, normally it would seem as if the brute were not as kind towards ranks of hunters and lower, but she figured he was having a good day. "It wasn't much," Scarlet told him in her soft voice, before watching him as he set the deer down within the food pile. She smiled when he turned back towards her and asked her a question. "Don't worry about it, anyway, my day has been quite fine, thank you." She barked lightly with a brief swish of her tail, adding. "How has yours been?"

((Thank you! \(^o^)/ I'll try to complete my forms by the end of today. Actually, I'd really like to test out a new character I've been thinking about for literally only a day, but she'd be a pup with no mother as she's incredibly underdeveloped. Would that be weird, or...?))

I was surprised that Phoenix, my crush and the leader of the rebels came to me. "Hello, Phoenix," I said, swishing my tail gently across the ground. "I'm sorry, I have nothing for them at the moment." I thought desperately, trying to think on what to do. With a spur of the moment I reached forward and began to lick the scars on his shoulder. It would indeed keep the bleeding to a minimum. "Sorry, but my tongue is only thing I have right now, it'll keep the bleeding to a minimum as long as someone, or you yourself will lick it ever so often." It wasn't necessarily the best advice, but, I hadn't gotten the.... herbs? Is that what the healers used for injuries? I think so. So I hadn't gotten the herbs or whatever I'm suppose to use just yet so my tongue would have to make up for them at the moment. Pulling away, I lowered my head in a respectful manner, waiting for his response.

he sighed and flinched slightly at the feeling of her tongue. "It's fine, I just hope that fox wasn't sick." he muttered, sitting down. He licked her ear, signaling he accepted her respect.
