Into The Open- Cat RP [No Longer Accepting]

Hearing her hiss at Minka annoyed Raven. "Nope. You shouldn't go round yelling your pelt off . It scares the prey, mouse-brain!" She then stood, her dark pelt prickling. She padded away through the forest, tail lashing. "Minka? Pebble? Tiger? Coming?" She meowed, a growl rumbling slightly.

Splash grazed the ground with her claws"Umm,I didn't mean it like that...I'm sorry"She looked up"What can I do to help?"

She meowed, slightly calmer. " Sorry doesn't bring rabbits out their burrows or fish into the stream. Sorrya just a saying." Raven padded away, her collar danglig loosely round her neck.

Minka got up and followed Raven, shooting the new cat an apologetic look. Flicking her ears as if to say she'd try to clam Raven. Padding after her, she mewed," I'm going to hunt for you, and you're going to eat it. I'm to stubborn to let you not, according to you." Amusement glittering in her eyes. Before Raven had time to reply, she leapt into the bushes to hunt. She new she'd be slower due to injuries, but she could still try. Scenting a mouse, she began to stalk it. It was far to fat to put up a good run, so Minka killed it quickly. Padding back to Raven, she dropped it by her paws and meowed," Come on, eat it. I'll pester you until you do, me and my stubborn self." she said with a small laugh.

She stepped around and saw everything.It was so...so....pretty!She gaped at the formations in rocks and all the cats.

Raven meowed gently, but her voice was steely. " I can hunt for myself. You eat it." Flicking the prey away with her paw she carried on walking. She was easily angered, and the new cat had triggered it like a light coming on at the touch of a switch. She sloped off away without Minka, wanting to be alone. Even though she knew Crow would try and fight her again, she didn't care. She just kept walking until she reached the outskirts of the forest, where she could easily see the twoleg nests. She hissed to herself " Stupid kittypets, coming to try and take over the forest. Why don't they go back, after all, they keep saying it was so warm and perfect and they were well fed. Who want's to be wildcat? Who want's to be a cat who has to deal with family being killed before your eyes, family trying to kill you, food shortage natural disasters, no place where you can feel safe that nothing with find you?" She glared at her paws, angered by the lack of decent, strong wildcats in the forest.

She heared the hissing cat so she walked up and put a paw on her shoulder"I know exactly how you feel."She put her head down sadly"Not all Twoleg nests are warm and cozy.I watch my brother and sister get brutally murdered by my Twoleg.He would beat me with a stick and leave me in a dark,cold room"She was fighting back tears.

She sighed. " You don't know. You don't know what it's like to have a forest you have pretty much lived in all your life stolen and filled with kittypets- I mean, house cats."

Minka heard Raven walk away. Even if Minka was hungry, she wouldn't admit it. After leaving her twolegs, her legs had gotten strong. Walking over to a tall tree, she gave a mighty leap, jumping right up into a low branch, not needing the trunk or any other tree limbs to haul herself up, despite her injuries. After a while of laying in the branch with the sun dappling her pelt, her hunger got to her. Standing up, she opened her mouth for the scent of squirrel. Once she found a scent, she looked around for it. Looking up, she saw it a few branches above her. Leaping up the branches without problem, she raced after the squirrel. Her cuts stung as the small branches snagged them, but she was to hungry to care. As the squirrel leapt into another tree, Minka's speed didn't falter, as she flawlessly leapt into the tree. Closing in on the squirrel, she swiped at it. Tripping the squirrel, she leapt right onto it, cutting its started squeal short by biting it's neck cleanly. Eating the squirrel in a few neat, quick, famished bites, she leapt down. Grabbing the mouse she'd previously killed, she walked to Raven, thinking she'd given her enough time. As she got closer, she heard Raven meowing about housecats coming in and stealing the forest. Minka dropped the mouse, and turned tail. Walking away quickly, one tear fell. She ignored it. She didn't know that Raven didn't want other cats in the woods. Walking over to the water, her reflection faltered as a few more tears fell. Minka curled up, and for the first time since she'd left, she thought about her parents. I wish they were still here... she thought.
