Rift smiled and watched as the opposing canine shook the grainy white stuff out of his pelt. "Thanks for not doing that anywhere near me." she said with a laugh. She had to admit that the brute looked much better when he wasn't covered in sand.

He just snapped at me... No one has ever snapped at me... She winced at the thought of her being snapped at by someone.She tried to get the thought out of her head but it just stayed yes it wasn't that big but Sadi hasn't been near any other dogs her whole life. Most of them here are very nice. She finally got the thought out of her head and smiled at the little dog on top of her. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you.."

Maybe I shouldn't have snapped at her.. She was nice enough to help me see the food over the other dogs.. But still she called me fat. Boo stood on top of Sadi before he finally jumped down with a nice juicy steak. "Thank you for helping me!" He mumbled through the mouthful of steak.

" You're welcome. Most dogs just shake it all off in front of other dogs and it can be rude, so don't worry, I know my manners." He said with a slight chuckle and then glanced at Rift and thought that she looked even prettier from sitting up than from when he was laying down. " So, uh tell me a little bit about yourself Rift. If you don't mind me asking." He said, and made sure he wasn't talking too fast.


Meanwhile, Zorua began her way over to where all the other dogs were going and she felt her mouth water from the smell of the delicious food. So many things to choose from! she thought to herself and licked her lips before deciding on some ribs and steak. Her stomach rumbles loudly as she got closer to the food.

"It's nice to know that some dogs still care about other dogs' feelings." She said and smiled at the large brute. She thought for a moment when the male asked about her, and tried to be as careful as possible with what she said. "No I don't mind you asking, I used to be a cattle dog and stayed there with my foster mother until my mate, Topper passed, and I left to come here."She said with a distant look appearing in her bright amber gaze. . "What about you, mokuba?"

Once Sadi got her food and ate it she bumped into a female dog getting A1 sauce on her fur. Sadi looked at the female then the A1 sauce and kept doing that for a few seconds until. "You gonna eat that A1 sauce?" Before the female could answer Sadi quickly licked the A1 sauce off. "Thank you and sorry for being rude! I'm Crazy Sadi or just Sadi! Or Sadi Crazy..." She felt very playful maybe that explains why she licked A1 sauce off the female.

" I'm terribly sorry for your loss.... I was used as a police K-9 drug dog and I was sent on a trip to Mexico to deal with some nasty dealers, and my handler got shot at , and I also got injured myself, but they had to send me back and I was retired." He said and then added, " Well that's how I was raised before I was sent off to the K-9 unit."

"That must have been so scary. I was just in charge od cows not stopping bad humans. You could have been killed!" she said surprisedly. "What do you think of it here? Asked rift deciding to change the subject from their past lives. Most of the dogs there didn't have a very happy background so it was amazing for them to be in such a nice place.

" I know, and I'm glad I'm here. I really like it here. It is peaceful and I don't have to worry about any humans or anything serious. The beach is my favorite part so far. What about you? Do you like it here?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. He knew most of the dogs that are here, he could feel a bad history from them and it was sad.

Rift sighed as happiness washed over her as if it was a wave. "It's amazing here. My favorite parts are the beach the pool and the fact that I even have my OWN room! All the other dogs here are so amazing!" The Border collie mix went on with a delighted ton of voice. She really did like this place. It was pure paradise in her opinion and way better than a smelly cow farm.
