Mimzy let out a soft yawn, showing her black stained gums and her dull teeth. She blank her eyes a few times, trying to focus on a small chickadee sitting outside her small den. She smiled and flicked her long, red tail, making the bird chirp and fly away quickly.
She poked her nose out of her den, her nostrils flared with the scent of early morning dew and other birds searching the ground for worms.
Its such a nice day today.. I wonder if ill need to get more prey for the pack.. She whispered, licking her lips at the thought of a juicy rabbit.

Hutch snored in the back of his den, his brown ears flicked as small droplets of water dripped down onto his head. He snorted and rolled over with a loud groan.
