Koza heard sudden foot steps from nearby, without checking to see what was in front of her she began to run away. She got about 4 feet before she tripped over a root and sliced one of her cheeks open. The clumsy wolf let out a piercing yelp as blood flowed down her upper lip off her face. Cautiously she removed her foot from under the root and stood up. Her head hurt especially her cheekbones and cheek. Hopefully the pack hadn't heard her.
