His ears flattened at the wolf peering down at him. His eyes were lifeless, and glazed in pain. His head dropped onto his paws, while a small pool of sticky scarlet liquid formed around his flanks. His voice cracked with exhaustion. "Wolf. I am truly sorry for what I have caused. If you do not wish to help me I only ask for one favor. Rid of my soul." He held his gaze level showing he truly meant it.

Ash growled "I will not do anything for a dog, I have bigger tasks anyway."she barked walking off into the trees she sniffed the air scenting for Von she didn't scent him anywhere. She growled in frustration she hoped stark and jayde were ok.

Brindle's smirk turned into a soft smile, not like her. She was trying to be kind, maybe start a new with these new wolves. She too was a loner, though she had a whole pack surrounding her. She was so rude to those who were so kind and because of tis she wasn't close to anyone in the pack. Her eyes had moved to the floor in her thoughts but she cleared her throat and looked a the trio again with brighter eyes than she had given them earlier. "Yes. The pack. We inhabit these parts of the forest." She started to turn and walk, flicking her tail to indicate they should follow her. "Jayde is our alpha, with a kind heart and open mind. We have a few hunters, guards and a healer, Ash. Jayde has a beau, Von, as well. We all live t survive with what is thrown in front of us." Her mind went back to Jayde and she stopped for a brief second. "But... I'm not quite sure where our Alpha is at the moment." Her scruff at the base of her neck rose and she looked back to them, hoping they didn't see. She could sense danger, but didn't want to alarm the three. She cleared her throat again out of nervousness. "Well come now. I'll show you the main territory and dens." She sent back a genuine smile and her pace quickened into a trot.

"Hmm a missing alpha" Asante thought as the trio followed right behind Brindle. She glanced back at her 2 brothers and smirked, "So the packs alpha is missing? has the pack went searching? if not we will search for the alpha ourselves wouldn't mind helping the pack out " she said smiling.

"Hmm might wanna investigate that howling who knows it might be your missing alpha calling and begging for help" Lyric said.

As Crow's howling continued, Jayde wondered if the fae was hurt. But as she listened closer, she discovered the howl was out of depression. Poor Crow. Jayde thought. I hope the pack takes care of her.

The anguish of Jayde's disappearance made Crow so depressed that the ground seemed to suck her in. She allowed tears that melted the dirt below her, changing it into a churning mud as she ran in circles. A howl ripped at her throat, and she let out in a piercing screech. She could hear the others running through the trees trying to find her, but she couldn't care if she died before they reached her.

He let out a strangled yelp. The wolf had refused to kill him? That's a first. Exhaustion left him limp in the pine needles and other decaying materials. He sighed and tried to clean his flank wound, but only licked a few times before collapsing once again. He laid there as the chill of night crept over the land while the sun started hitting the horizon in a burst of fiery red glow.

Brindle have the three wolves a guilty smile. "I didn't want to alarm you three. This doesn't usually happen." She said, almost in a whisper. She nodded at them and put her full trust in them. "We can spread out, follow the howls and spread out." Before they could respond, she bolted in the direction of the way the howl had come. Her stress had risen through all of the fuss and it almost felt nice to run. But she was on a mission and had one focus: to find Jayde.

Stark ran around, searching every crevice. She could've been anywhere and he didn't want to take any chances. He let out a sharp howl, indicating he needed her to howl again and waited, hoping she would respond.

Despite Brindle telling them to split up the trio didn't. "Yes spread out and not be able to save your most likely injured alpha from possible attackers " Asante muttered as she watch Brindle run off.

Without any hesistation the three ran off the source of the howl though they were a few feet away from each other well 10 ft actually so they aren't far enough to not quickly come to each others aid in case of a threat.

Lyric in the mean time was a bit hesistant about this he felt that his sister may have a few plans in her head about this but whatever those may be hopefully they don't involve anyone dying.

Nova hearing another howl in the distance, he howled back while running to perhaps let one of the pack members know of their location.
