Firefly looked at him skeptically before turning back to the fence. It wasn't tall enough that she couldn't jump it. The mare excelled more at jumping than she did running. That flaw made her easier to catch if it was an all out race.

"Ya know what, I think it would be better to put another horse in with you. But who should I put in here? I could put Sass but she's not feeling to good, and I don't want to put a stallion in here."

The mare snorted and nudged his shoulder. He could put any horse he wanted in here and she wouldn't mind. She could handle a stallion or mare. She had lived with both her whole life. She looked back at the fence and lipped the top bar, considering jumping it soon.

She said," Nothing she won't heal from. I took care of it. " She nodded. She called out to brad," Want Shark to accompany her?"

He was about to say something when Harmony called over to him, "yeah that might work." He walked over Jake Harmony, "once we get a horse put in with her, I need to talk to you and Jake."

Firefly snorted and finally backed away from the fence. The mare dropped her head to graze, only nibbling on the grass. She snorted softly and began to walk to the far side of the pasture.

She took the young 2 yr old colt over to brad. "Kay."

He looked over at Jake then back at Harmony. "Meet us up at the house," with that he headed towards the house.

Firefly looked up curiously at the new horse. A small whiff of the air confirmed her suspicions. This horse was male. She snorted softly before returning to her grazing. She lokked at the woods for a fleeting moment, contemplating the jump, but decided to wait a bit. The food was plentiful here and she needed to fatten up before she left. Maybe she would stay until after winter so she wouldn't be cold.

She nodded and set Shark out in the pasture with Firefly. She put Kid in a nearby pasture

"What is this stuff? Where's the hay?"
